I don't know a single person other than the King himself who rates Gouffran. He's a complete non entity of a player. Offers precisely nowt. -

You wouldn't have the courage to confront anyone unless it's from behind a computer screen. Keep on going with the cyber arguments though, it's as close as you'll ever get to a real one. -

I wouldn't dream of saying anything to anyone on here I wouldn't say to them face to face. Walk into any pub of your choice on a matchday and crack on with this. We both know you haven't got the balls to do that though and that is where your argument falls short. You're full of it, but only behind a computer screen. Pathetic, even if you were a woman. -

I've told you what you are. It's up to you to prove otherwise. I've got a feeling you'll have trouble doing so. Please feel free to continue mouthing off through your computer though. -

You're a coward who hides behind his keyboard making snide remarks all day. Nothing more, nothing less. You'll be quiet as a mouse in the real world. -

Sad thing is you wouldn't have the courage to walk into the ground tomorrow and come out with anything like that cos' you wouldn't last a minute. Carry on with the snide comments from the safety of your keyboard though -

I'm in the Black Bull in Benton. He's just walked in if anyone's got owt to say to him.

Agree to an extent but they shouldn't be boasting about their crowds as much when so many people are getting in for nowt or next to nowt. Any club could do that and see a massive increase in gates. Let's face it they wouldn't put on all these ticket offers if they didn't have to.

What about those who go there to support the team? They're not supporting the team, they're supporting the regime. Ironically. I'm sure the players would disagree with that statement. There's a bigger picture to look at than directly influencing the players on the pitch imo. There has been for a long time. Correct. If nobody bothered going along to watch there would be no club. Certainly not a Premier League one anyway.

What about those who go there to support the team? Not the rayjeem? Or Pardew, or is he included in that?

They're also allowing season ticket holders to buy extra seats for their next home game (v Chelsea) for £10. Add this to all the freebies they hand out to schools and the university and it's not hard to see why they generate the lowest £ per seat in the league by a long way. When you look on their forum it's all back slapping each other about their 40k crowds but in reality if they set their admission costs to the same level as the other middle of the road PL clubs they'd be pulling in 25k most weeks.

Let's not re-write history because he's playing well now. We shipped in 2 goals in games against City, Palace, Hull and Swansea and didn't give a particularly good defensive performance in any of those games, him included. I think he's a decent player but let's not pretend he's been good since the start of the season when clearly he hasn't. I totally disagree. One player who definitely wasn't good at the start of the season was your mate, Williamson. You're entitled to your opinion but you're wrong as is usually the case when you start typing. We were shambolic defensively until the start of last month. None of the back 4 were playing well at the start of the season with the exception of Janmaat who was decent and now looks like a great signing. Anyone who watched us over the first half dozen games knows this. Funny you've made 3 posts on the subject without being able to allude to one game in which Dummett individually played badly. He didn't play particularly well in any of the 4 games I mentioned and he certainly hasn't defended well all season as you said earlier. That's clearly a load of rubbish and anyone who attended any of those games mentioned would agree. Anyway I'm bored with you now so goodbye. -

Seen them a couple of times on the telly lately and thought they looked canny. They've certainly improved massively from the start of the season when they looked nailed on for relegation.
