  1. We're too conservative at home but then again I don't think we're blessed with such attacking talent that it's beyond the system that for the most part has worked. Needs time and resources to troubleshoot in the new year
  2. Heads in the sands we'll be promoted ffs. I don't care if we match or beat or points total or win the league - we'll just get the job done. People are right in the sense that we are a far cry from premier league mainstay quality but the man has made some savvy acquisitions, has the window coming up and the credentials/rationale to back his own decisions. Some of these comments smack of impatience. We were dumped here with good reason and this is very much a rebuild.
  3. Don't really see what the fuss is about to be honest. Never good to lose at home but losing your talismanic player is always going to mean tricky implications. Hopefully with Jan ahead Rafa will be pushing to address that. Come on mike you twat.
  4. As disappointing as these results have been, It's just going to happen
  5. Does she know he's there? Nice Mbemba berries on her. They live in a sinkhole too?
  6. There's more weight to saying SP had something to do with Rafa being here than not - by virtue of their goal being met, them explaining the expectations they have of a manager and how morphing into AO has held the club to account. Who cares TBH whether pardew was scared off or just wanted ego massaged - it made him look for the out door. Who cares if it didn't directly bring Rafa here - it nailed it to the mast that talentless yes men aren't to be tolerated. It would seem we were approached by Rafa by sections of our fans having the boldness to spell out that we match the ambitions of the best.
  7. If by blip he means a napalm mass grave then sure why not?
  8. On the 5th day, first light at dawn, look to his coming to the East.
  9. Feel sorry for him. I'd forgive him readily if he just was humble and said sorry. Then died in an AIDS fire
  10. Monty magpie wasn't it? Inside job. Like The Stig.
  11. It'll happen. Be patient. This joke has multiple punchlines.
  12. Don't get hung about pundits. The bloke could have overseen the charge of the light brigade and still have been praised for bravery by his peers.
  13. Fuck that apprentice thing is good.
  14. TBH the more clubs it happens to him at the better. Proves he's the constant when it all comes to its end. Yous are just hatefully impatient.
  15. They were never going to sustain that. Palace actually have some sense than to endure the twat than we did at the time.

  17. It is just such a mindbogglingly thick thing to say. But then he is so...
  18. Not levelling this at pardew but it's the sort of bullshit protectionist attitude that's let these abuse scumbags get away with it. Wanker fraternity.
  19. They're 18th Lightyears from playing burton.
  20. f*** off man. Such a negative t*** these days. In my mind, Rafa is taking us up and getting us into Europe within two seasons. Minimum. Which of Man City, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea or Arsenal are you expecting us to be finishing ahead of in two years? Who knows. It's doable though. We were ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea 2 years after getting promoted last time. I think we need to lower our minimum expectations a little bit or we'll only end up getting dissapointed. The best case scenario for the next 3-4 seasons is competing with Everton, West Ham and Southampton etc..., and then push on from there if any of the big teams slip up. If he can get us a consistent top half team in the next 3 years then I'll be happy. Anything else would be exceptional. If you think Rafa came here to scrap for 10th place for 3-4 years you must have a screw loose. This is Rafa Benitez we are talking about - a f***ing legend in the game, not Mick McCarthy. ?? Whilst this is true, it's a bit straw man. If true faith pod are anything to go by from meeting him, he seems to have an emphasis on these things taking a lot of time and planning. If we go back to trying to be a gravy train club - he'll be off. It'll probably be savvy to see if our dear leader remains as the current situation requires.
