I would say AVB saying he doesn't care what Pardew reckons, and did his team look tired in the 2nd half, obviously not. Frankly Pardew is still looking to excuse last seasons hideous football and sees the Europa League as his main excuse. If he said nothing this season about it, it wouldn't have been an issue but he just cant help trying to deflect the blame for his own shortfalls. I'll say it again, what the hell does the Europa League have do with playing the senseless hit and hope rubbish we watched last year. Nothing that's what and rather than accept that the reason we were so poor was Pardew woeful tactics and team selections, Pardew looks to something else. Pardew you values a gritty, dig your heels in performance than one of technical attacking prowess. Grafters like Gouff (albeit talented) and Jonas, Willo et al. are his cup of tea so when we win through that way, he is more likely to carry on in the same vein. I do give him credit for the way we play when we do impose ourselves on teams as we have in spells this season, but rarely does he strike a blance between attack and defense in the same game.

Well, whilst you can debate whether to give him credit for the team's performance or not, one thing is for certain, this shite about being undermined by Ashley/innear spouted in the media has been truly dispelled as myth. It's the usual hyperbolic reaction to anyone trying to suggest an alternative "wut so you want curbishley then do ya LOL?" So tiresome like No, its a fair suggestion that a currently experienced out of work premier league manager would consider a job offer from Ashley should he sack Pardew, which is what a lot of you say you want. If you don't want to back yourself up old son that's fine, but theres nothing more hyperbolic at the moment than "waah!! Pardew's rubbish sack him!!" which is about as far as the debate goes on here it would seem. Well the debate also included a mere post before the idea that due to Ashley's practices the likes of Pulis wouldn't come near us imo and that people like Pardew facilitate the very practices we all hate by jumping into bed with the devil's own. That goes beyond 'he's rubbish, sack him' which you could rightly attribute to a lot of people's viewpoints. The 'waah'? Not so much. Villa are a good example of lower spending with ambition. It's yielded mixed results for them but at least you get a sense of hunger; the efforts to keep benteke for example and the selection of a principled albeit flawed manager. Professionally they are lightyears ahead , but it would require no difficult change.

He's an enabler. The more we let weak characters like Pardew know that we don't tolerate those that enable the sort of shite Ashley is capable of the better.
