Maybe so. Not old enough but this current particular chav culture is something that has very much emerged in my generation. (I'm 26) If it has always been that way then as a perpetual problem its very troubling.

Honestly think half of these uber-shit films like green street and football factory have something to do with glamourising this type of behaviour. Work with loads of kids who quote it all the time and produce half the behaviours seen. Romanaticises the period when it was rife. It's probably not the root cause but it doesn't help. Indicative of the underclass of wankers that we seem to have in this country nowadays. Football tribalism and crowd mentality is an ideal breeding ground for it unfortunately; despite those two things not being all that bad in truth.
