Can't say I've seen enough of Santon at RB to pass judgement tbh. Has he even played there that many times?
-
Well each game will bring its own merits in terms of decisions to be made; I'm not going to question the incident named above because you are probably right. In that instance. I'm just going along with the opinion that is held that as a goalkeeper its always better to get yourself in a position where you're most likely to stop a shot whilst retaining posession and not falling foul of the second ball. Kind of like when keepers do two hand punches when they could try to just hold it. That's like your example but in reverse.
-
You are more likely to hold onto something with your hands than your feet. Not sure how you can get wound up about that like.
-
Would have him back, all my other reservations aside. Would add to the pass and move of the squad and I never saw many wingers get 100% the better of him. Like someone said though, this is highly unlikely and probably a good thing stability wise.

Interrupt-gate in full swing/meltdown there like. Thick as a bull's dick that Wireside gonk.

Aye but compare where they finished in those seasons compared to last year/ whee they are now. It's not a good indicator thinking positively. However, I'm a staunch pessimist and expect them to fully have our pants down by half time. -
I'm not convinced we're seeing him change because he's lost a yard or whatever. He looks completely different to the kind of player he ever was. He showed in a fleeting glimpse on Sunday that the pace was still there in some capacity. I find it tremendously odd. He may well have peaked in the last couple of seasons or it may be down to coaching. Just can't put a finger on it; it's weird.

Even though hes a class above Ben Arfa? Sounds like the penny is dropping for a lot of them regarding O'Neill though tbh

SSN news ticker looks crackers in that game

Be something innocent like 'Juan since you're here, I'm dating a lady from Madrid and was wondering, since you get loads of women; you. Spanish Twat?'

The Sir Rich Hall Stand pls

He's a filthy greasy-dicked hoss heeded cheat and his 'witty' celebration should be condemned. Moyes bottled out on his comments imo.
-
Once again makes a mockery of the 'respect' campaign, flauts the genuine goals of the 'kick it out' initiative and as BlueStar has suggested is probably a player deliberately misconstruing something said along those lines or plain lying. It may be tedious but a lot this weekend should be used to highlight what is wrong with football; the levity with which diving is treated (Suarez), examples of it over the weekend (one you could argue harshly but at least a call is being made) and the media circus by pundits and papers alike. You just watch the PFA/Old pros lay into Clattenburg after being so soft on John Terry. I'll be fucking amazed if what he is alleged to have said is even remotely true/plausible.
-
None of it, not one bit of all that time-consuming and ill conceived bollocks was necessary let alone resembling something that is passable as a scathing satire. I hope they get shot with shit.

Makes you feel better about your own lifestyle choices at best.

He'll never get piles in that coffin. God made that man the perfect arsehole.
-
I agree but you could certainly argue that 2-3 of those are squad players who are not the best in that position.
-
Shola, Jonas, Perch, Williamson, Simpson?

Not expressing a particularly strongly held personal opinion but I sometimes consider the perception that Pardew gives off of someone who is extremely professional and studies tactics and opposition on a regular basis. Which is great. At the same time I do think that this whole looking sharp and professional, making the right soundbites and showing that you do things like having dossiers on each side (which I have been led to believe) detracts from whether he has the nous or astute ability to do the basic things well. Things seem a bit garbled and over-analysed. I dunno. The rhetoric Pardew provides and the reality don't really correlate.
