  1. Shita I know its fun to try new ones but that doesn't work man. Might as well just drop the 'a'
  2. 'Having a stand up shit like a straight up baller, you get me cracker?'
  3. Whether he wanted to come here or not via fake/real agent the signs weren't positive on Barnetta. N'zogbia was never going to come here either. He's a marked improvement to the squad provided it happens. I'd have preferred Barnetta probably but it's looking more positive that a day from Pardew stating publicly that players are needed we've seen some positive movement for once, albeit quite late in the day. LB and striking options worry me more though 'Pards'
  4. Not disagreeing with you there but what are people expecting, forking out 15-20 million on the likes of Aaron Lennon/20 million striker? Don't jump on us for that example either. Just curious to gauge opinion of people thinking this is underwhelming.
  5. to all recently stated. LB/striker now please.
  6. Bit overly negative on here like. I for one am pleased we're signing players of a decent level of potential rather than relying on the reputations of has beens like Campbell and the likes of the relegation crowd. He's much better than the standard of cover we have at worst.
  7. I don't care if his leg is on backwards up until xmas, I want an excuse to use this song.
  8. I am the son of the king of Sweden. Fair play to this Barry fella like this pretending business is a reet laugh
  9. Rob green play leftback like?
  10. Another insightful, cutting report on his own, at an empty training ground from David Craig. Rageh Omar-esque stuff indeed.
  11. http://www.gifbin.com/bin/g600616996.gif http://www.gifbin.com/bin/082009/1249977126_dramatic_black_woman.gif http://gallery.fanserviceftw.com/_images/7fa40f628f3286371065a7646365d77f/277%20-%20animated_gif%20dramatic_look%20shawn_michaels%20triple_h%20wwe.gif WUT? Title Change you say? This is the erding thread all over isn't it
  12. Just no. WUM surely? Otherwise clueless.
  13. It's Maro's magic football with a mixed race lad instead. What a jip.
  14. I think its possible he wants his stated 100 million and then out, anything he gets more and a bit more publicity for Sports Direct will have been a bonus. He may of course be a belligerant bastard who wants to run a club in the same way he runs any of his other businesses. Who knows?
  15. It's Barton's toungue out concentration face that does it for me like
  16. We're buying young players so we can sell them at a profit in 2/3 years time. Perfect business strategy. Maybe. I don't think he's planning to stay for the long term though. I'm glad the days of everest high wages are going; in the long term I see football in general heading that way. With foresight, I can't see how its going to end in anything but tears with the likes of Man City and Chelsea once the oligarchs finally get bored and see no further profit in it. It may be gradual but in many senses you could argue we're taking the right stance. Regular business ethics don't apply with competetive sport though, as their are too many variables to apply spending just enough to accumulate and having to rely on merely having employees on roll that can fill a playing position. It's only ever going to get you so far. I'm no doom-mongerer as I'm quite happy with many of the signings in midfield; they seem really astute buys but the dismantling of a strong defensive unit has been the catalyst for the decline of many an effective team. I think we have a first team that is adequate without the players that have left, assuming they maintain fitness but I won't rule out the possibilty of a struggle or even relegation. Maybe we are a club struggling from the 'sins of the father' and the Fallout of the Shepherd years and Ashley in a clumsy, botched way is seeing the way things are headed. The noises made not too long ago suggest that the man wants out, as I suspect that though he sees clubs are potential cash-cows; it is difficult to do stay in the top tier and especially do well in the way he may have originally desired, coupled with the extra difficulty of slaking the ambitions of an avid fan base.
  17. Definite exit strategy stuff. Ashley doesn't strike me as a principled man with a genuine vision for the club. All this young, hungry players stuff looks more and more like a smokescreen by the day.
  18. Far too much hyperbole in the press about him being our best player last season....Best English/offensive player perhaps. He wasn't the best though. From a non-pragmatic point of view of course.
  19. Just 'BBC: NUFC give up hope...' and leave it there. Take it as a wise instruction.
  20. I wish he'd shut up. Quoting Orwell. Christ....
  21. Not exactly comparable really. You pay 10 of thousands of pounds a week to recieve displays showing some footballing ability.
