  1. Newcastle United FC not willing to give up on Paris Saint-Germain’s striker Mevlut Erding – Ligue 1 News Newly appointed Sporting Director of Paris Saint-Germain and former Internazionale coach, Leonardo, was recently seen in talks with Newcastle united FC for the transfer of the Turkish striker Mevlut Erding. In the 2009/10 season, Erding was third in the list of top scorers in the league. He scored 15 goals in 31 matches and received the Player of the year award from his Club in the same year. The Saint-Claude-born has great control of the ball and his sheer brilliance alone can win matches. English Premier League side Newcastle United FC are quite confident that they will be able to bring the Turkish international to the St. James Park. Alan Pardew, coach of The Magpies, had this to say, “We are working extremely hard to make the deal happen and I'm pretty happy with how things have gone so far.” Earlier this month, The Magpies had offered an official bid of 8.5 million Euros deal which was rejected by the youngster. The Brazilian midfielder is expected to sign four players in a few days. Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt, AS Roma winger Jeremy Menez, Valenciennes Football Club centre-back Milan Bisevac and ASSE’s defensive midfielder Blaise Matuidi are all touted to be arriving soon. Eh? Pardinho anyone?

I just hope that when the bombs fall and after hundreds of years civilisation rises to survive again that they will look for remnants of the past from which to learn and find Skirge's computer; fire it up and create their own culture from deciphering what all these sig symbols mean. We live and hope.
  7. The whole if you moved out of the north east/abnormality comment was a bit daft like. Hardly blame folk for jumping on that.
  8. This good in the championship and core to our promotion is a myth too. He was mediocre at best and this went unoticed because he wasn't chasing shadows half as much as he now does in the prem.
  9. Arsenal home 2007, Villa home 2010- that's about it? Didn't really have to do owt really. For some reason Villa decided to be a piss poor shambles that day.

  12. What a shower of bollocks the last few pages has descended into There are rivalries everywhere man. Ours just happens to derive from history and not religion yadda, yadda, yadda. Where you live doesn't really affect it if you have an affinity with the area as many others and I have.

  16. It's an extension at club level of patriotism; described as Samuel Johnson put it 'the last refuge of the scoundrel.' Very apt in this instance.
  17. Just seen some clips too. He looks like he could be rather handy. Hope he scores a couple so we can have a 2-0 win with the headline 'Marveux Two-Zero'
  18. if this is anywhere near true this would top me beating cancer...easily.
  19. I don't condone the use of banners, but it would be sweet indeed to see a 'green mags?' banner following the the derby IF we win. Tempting fate a bit i know...
