I get ESPN anyways as it shows Serie A and tbh, the football output in general is very good, but ESPN is just higher quality than ITV. I know for people who dont have ESPN it is the cost, but ITV's football coverage is absolute dog shit...

There must be an argument for Liverpool being the biggest example of a one-man team in the league at the moment, it is a shame that he is racist mind but a super player, i dont even mind the diving. and re: one man team, before anyone says it, http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/08/24/article-0-14ACF8ED000005DC-174_306x423.jpg no!

If true, i wonder why?... http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/nechronical/feb2009/9/0/Gonzalez_321032749.jpg (yes i know he was at Valencia at the time...)

Again we read this tripe, it don't matter for s*** most of the DM's in this league are tiny..... it's about positional sense and footballing brain more than physicality. Man Utd seem fine with Carrick, City seem fine with Barry, Liverpool with Lucas/Allen, Everton with Neville, Arsenal with Arteta etc etc. The fact everyone needs to be built like a brick house is a myth. Anyone who's seen Tiote up close knows that he's not a big guy by anyone's definition. He's actually quite small. He's built like a tank though. And by no stretch of the imagination can 5'11" be considered "small." He looked tiny when i saw him against Brugge, didn't look 5'11" tbh!

It worked most times, just not against Arsenal... Or Everton. It did against Reading though and that was one of my favorite games as a fan, with one of my favorite goals ive ever seen live (Emre )

I honestly think this side has a serious humping coming their way, and when they play as negative as they do, it will be superbly sweet...they need to play Villa soon so they can come across Dunne, og specialist

Don't think he "struggled massively" against him yesterday. When they won at SJP last season Colo was famously "left for dead" and Long did the occasional attempt at repeating that yesterday. Still think Lukaku unsettled us more than any striker has been able to do so far this season. Agree about Long, there was one time where i thought Long got the better of Colo, but Colo got back in position and cut it out...other than that, he wasnt a thread... If Pippo Inzaghi was born offside, then Shane Long has moved and helped raise 3 generations of his family there...

Or, a run-of-the-Milner player? (it works) Yeah, i feel like he is the weak link of midfield atm, his legs seem to have gone a bit this summer, even last season i thought he did an excellent job in the 4-2-3-1 as part of the 2 but I don't know, he may just be tired too

So much negativity sat around me again, on my new season ticket, meaning i have to now listen to it every 2 weeks...they left 5 minutes before the end though

Some thoughts; I had the most annoying bloody 13 year olds behind, with opinions such as "Anita is a complete waste of £8m, he cant do anything" followed by "Sammy and Shane Ferguson are shit, why are we playing them in Europe" and the worst, "Coloccini didnt play for us in the Championship man!". Stay away please...wouldnt have been bad but they started berating their mates who didnt make it to every game... Tiote started very poorly, poor passing and just dicked around on the ball. He did settle and looked good, but we saw more of the red card attracting tackles that he needs to cut out. Sammy looked selfish yes, but on a night like last night, we were begging for someone to take it by the scruff of the neck and do something. The linkup between him and Shola was superb a couple of times last night...i dont want to go too far, but Messi-Iniesta... Cisse was unlucky again, he will be firing by xmas i reckon. Though I dont think Anita is bad, i do think Bigi is already playing at the same level which considering the price tags is very impressive (for Bigi...). I do see good signs with Anita though and i reckon given time, he will get more towards Cabaye/Tiote level of performance. Santon is god. Harper still looks the most assured keeper in the history of football. "yep its going out, leave it" as it strikes the bar...the only time i noticed it last night was a chance very early on that he nearly spilled. Good performance overall though.

Just checking, would i be able to buy from box office now? There isnt like a policy of closing the box office on match day until the turnstiles open later or anything? want to nab a ticket now while im about to be on the road

Best bit on that attendances thread was; Might be a woosh, but you can only really measure the support of a team when the whole infrastructure is shit! We should be less organised like Sunderland, salt of the earth and all that...
