Colo and Perez went all the way down the line for autographs/pictures, the rest just went halfway or when called. Andy Woodman still fancies himself as the bantz king and told a story to McClaren about Pardew being called a pervert by a fan.

Tor-Kristian Karlsen likes him, good enough for me.

Not too concerned about a new leftback, would rather have two centerbacks and just let Haidara start at this point, mostly because I know we'll be lucky to get four signings and don't think leftback is as much of a priority. He's 22 now, has looked promising if a little raw, but he's going to develop further if he's playing.

Think Beckerman proved at the last Gold Cup and World Cup he's our best defensive mid, but he did have one of his worst games for us last night. He's 33 so hopefully we can move on after this tournament, Williams and Morales should do. Would love to find a way to get Johnson in midfield again, think he's best there, unfortunately we have no fullbacks.

I'm sure he'll get a few starts during the rest of the tournament, three games in seven days and all that.

He just left his job out of nowhere for a "role in the UK," but he's failed twice in MLS. Makes pretty much no sense.

Would be nice if they start uploading more videos to youtube like every other club but not if that's the music they're going to use.

Chicharito in talks with Orlando now, apparently the league has been after him and dos Santos for a few months now.

Iirc the new CBA added an extra DP to each team. Dunno if it's taken effect yet. If not, I can't see them shifting any of their three DPs (Keane, Gerrard, Gonzalez) in favor of dos Santos. It didn't, but they'll just make a new rule for them. Twellman said there would be another one added a few months ago.

In other news, sounds like Giovani dos Santos is close to joining LA.

Football is so broken; player leaves a team that's 5th at Christmas for a big team who never plays him. Comes back to a lesser side a year and a half later. Don't even think I can handle the injustice of that, should've just done everything possible to keep him for another half season, signed a striker in January and moved on. For some reason Cabaye irks me more than any other thing we've mismanaged under Ashley.
