  1. He just signed a new contract at ESPN today too so I suspect they're chafed by now
  2. James, man try to think critically about this for a second, as much as it might hurt.
  3. Just realized its the Timbers reserve side That's horrible
  4. Think it had to be Budweiser that got him out, he's off the hook
  5. him and hyndman will run our midfield for years. so giddy
  6. So we're trading away Chauncey?
  7. Fox Soccer 1 and possibly 2. It's in New Zealand, so on at like 1 and 3 AM eastern, I think there's one timeslot at 11 we could get in the knockouts (which we've qualified for already). Basically we're dope, U17 team is supposed to have more potential too.
  8. Anyone caught either of the U20 World Cup games? Was able to watch the first one but not last nights. Really promising, not sure they'll win the whole thing or even get to the semis, but there's a lot of talent this team. Hyndman and Rubio were already pretty obviously going to be good players Carter-Vickers seems to deserve the hype and Zelallem has been outstanding, or at least was last night. Along with a bunch of other known quantities, at least we have some hope for the future.
  9. Assuming the club doesn't get gate receipts for friendlies, just like a one-ff fee or something I won't feel bad about paying 25. Having said that I have no idea how organizing friendlies works.
  10. It's certainly going to be utilized. Hope we sign some unlucky cunt by then
  11. Hour and a half drive from me
  12. He's clearly in bed with the club, has been for a few years. Might be a mong but he's information is at least reliable.
  13. This is what I'm guessing. Hard to be lover Viera would be their number one choice right now. The express have stated we will speak to a Forrin candidate whos under contract as well as Vieria and McClaren next week.
  14. This is what I'm guessing. Hard to be lover Viera would be their number one choice right now.
  15. Ali pulls out, I give Blatter at most two more years in this position. He'll be taken out by the DOJ soon.
  16. Nah, he's bribing a lot of them. As well as treating them well publicly. There's a distinct problem with the system and it's never going to work they way it currently is.
  17. The idea that those countries have as much say isn't a terrible one, it's just that they don't have as much money as the others so are far more susceptible to being bribed.
  18. The deals were happening on US soil with US dollars though. It's very much our business
  19. I realized it as I typed it, but too lazy to backspace. Maybe we can get a nice purge of the Spanish FA too.
  20. The biggest problem with FIFA isn't just having a number of corrupt assholes running it, but how easy it is to be corrupt in the system. There needs to be a huge overhaul in how its run, especially the voting process. It's far to easy to buy votes from poorer, developing countries who have just as much say as Germany or Spain. In an ideal scenario Sepp is taken out and the whole ExCo is purged and the next two World Cups are voted on again, but that still leaves a lot of federation leaders who will take money for votes. I wouldn't expect new leaders to be any less corrupt, so hopefully this brings a huge change in the way FIFA is run, otherwise we're still fucked.
  21. I remember reading Foul by him the first summer I really committed to watching football. Never thought this day would come then, feels so good.
