Would have beat Villa and would be winning here, if we had a striker. Needs sorting ASAP.
-
not sure if this is just a defence mechanism or what, but there's no chance they're finishing rock bottom. No chance whatsoever. Good money could be bet on this.

Staying up easily, been said for months. Decided before today's, they'll be close to top 10.

Awful defending, just let Salah have the ball and shoot

Seems like the VAR didn't even see the second handball, they thought it hit his hand in the first phase when it bounced off his leg so was accidental (which would be correct, though not convinced it hit his hand then) and it's like they stopped after that bit and didn't watch the rest

Would struggle to be any less interested I think, I've slowly been going to more Non League games for my local side over the last few years, and with everything that has happened this summer, not just with us, but the "top 6" in general and PSR and all that bollocks it does push you further away. Modern football is broken and it isn't going to get any better. Also as above, we won a trophy last year which was great so that particular thing is competed which makes it easier to switch off, felt like I was keeping the attachment last couple of years for fear of missing out if we won something after so long. Still support us obv and will watch us when can and on TV but top level football gets worse every year, it's not the game we all fell in love with. I'm going to AFC Mansfield with my local side on Saturday so ill probably catch this if we're in a pub showing it, but I'm certainly not planning my day round it like I used to, been really enjoying non league, much more feeling of belonging.

good stuff here from Man Utd, we should follow suit
-
Gutting for Palace, what's makes this worse is that turbo cunts Forest will be in the Europa League now. Wankers
-
Be amazed if we look remotely competitive in this, expecting a comfortable home win.

Feel like the Championship really has gone downhill in recent years, the quality is absolutely shite, and it's not entertaining shite anymore, it's just dull rubbish football. Used to be entertaining at least years ago as whilst the quality wasn't great you'd have attacking games, but even that's gone now. Was quite looking forward to this game but it's dreadful, two of the fancied sides to come up as well. Been absolute duds on TV since the season came back so far, all just so boring, bring back the darts and cricket, football is dull man.

Awful player and a proper prick to boot. We're meant to be trying to compete with Chelsea, taking one of their cast offs is not a good look and reeks of panic buying. Always remember his hat trick against Spurs against 9 men, probably the worse hat trick I've ever seen and he had the gall to celebrate like prime Ronaldo

After Sesko we're one more rejection away from this bloke I think.

Xhaka would be a good signing for us like, he was one of the best players in the bundesliga last couple of seasons. He wouldn't start but hed be good back up to Bruno, Tonali and Joelinton, it's an amazing signing for a newly promoted team and will help them no end. Course they've had a better window than us, have massively improved their squad and got a good feel around their club. It's sickening like and I csnt believe Xhaka was so intent on going there.
-
Only a couple more weeks till we offer him a contract
-
We're a fucking embarrassment man, proper chance to build on what we've done so far and we've gone backwards. Lose Isak and not improve the squad we could genuinely be looking at a mid table finish next season. That's not an overreaction either, we easily could finish there.
-
I don't think he will, but this sort of window, coupled with the board disruption over the past couple of years, does give sense that a manager would walk. Keegan would have been gone by now, but im not sure Eddie would, unless he got a good offer from somewhere i guess, like if England came calling now, and obviously I know they wont, id expect he'd consider it a lot more with thr current situation.
-
Another fine display of goalkeeping
-
10 million bid for Guehi going in as we speak
-
You can't use that comparison as they'll have a completely different team that starts this season. It's not relevant, same with the "they finished 20 odd points behind Leeds and Burnley etc, if it was the same players then yeah theres a point, but they wont.
-
Xhaka is a really good signing like, anyone else we'd be saying it was. Still playing at a good level and signing for a newly promoted team? Insane they're getting him. They're going to surprise a few next season, said it all along that they won't go down, they've bought a lot of promising players and this will be a top one. As annoying as it is completely get the good feeling around the club, it'll help them immensely, especially in tjay first game against West Ham at home, it's the perfect first game for them. Be nowhere near a relegation fight.
-
The position we need to strengthen least is the goalkeeper, so I expect we'll go rest of the summer pissing about, sign no one, then last couple weeks we'll have it confirmed Isak is staying and end up signing Trafford. We'll then be gaslighted into believing it's a good window.

In terms of mounting a serious title challenge next season I think they are, yeah.
