Be laughs if the three players they've been playing at CB and GK are the ones that are out

Didn't know where else to put it, but this is an epic photo (click to see full size), of Ipswich's keeper celebrating Liam Delap's penalty the other day:

We have the honor of this being the first match that Tuchel watches as England Manager.

Lads, if you don't like a thread, you don't need to come into it, there is enough discussion in here for it to be justified, driven by the fact there have been 17 new pages since full time on Monday. We also have separate threads for both Liverpool and Tottenham, so it's not unique. This thread was also created 12 years ago.

Mark Robbins to Stoke. That's an incredible appointment by them, really surprised he didn't wait longer as he'd have surely had better offers.

If we get Champions League, the summer is going to be really interesting, as originally we all thought we needed a bit of a mini overhaul of the squad, with players like Longstaff, Trippier, Lascelles etc all moving on and being replaced, that becomes a bit harder if you need extra players to cope with the minimum 8, potentially 10 extra games.

Just watching that first goal back, I can't believe the Man United defence (Namely the Butcher) just let Isak, the most inform striker in the league, have about 5 yards of uncontested space at the edge of the 6 yard box only 3 minutes into the game

It feels odd that Maguire is the one that has come out of the last year or so with the most credit, given how absolutely hounded he was for a few years. I still think he's a decent, if very limited, defender, and in the right team that plays the right football he'd thrive. He'd do wonders at a team like Forest.

Out of all the issues with Man United, people like Goldbridge are top of the list for me.

Quietly impressed with Ipswich this season, other than our game, they've been in basically every game they've played, and been generally competitive. Which is an achievement in and of itself given they got back to back promotions, and still have some of the squad from league 1. It looks like they're slowing getting to grips with the league, I hope they stay up.

It feels slightly weird, as it doesn't quite feel like it, but we now have the joint 4th best away record in the league.

Lose to Liverpool, and it's a relegation 6 pointer against Southampton afterwards.

Such a mammoth.

Fulham, Bournemouth, Tottenham, Chelsea, Villa, Man United and Brighton have all dropped points this gameweek.

Honestly, what the fuck was Amorim thinking starting with that Midfield two? It was evident beforehand they'd get overrun, and it happened instantly. Leicester and Ipswich where much better that what Man United produced in that first half.
-
What a result that was almost the ideal away performance, score two early goals and limit the home side from any chances and see it out. That is such a big win for the confidence of the team going into the second half of the season. The second half wasn't vintage, and probably felt more nervy than is actually was, but we played some lovely stuff at times, and deservedly won that game. The way we killed that last 20/30 minutes felt like us from two seasons ago. Man United though, woof they where horrid.
-
That was so weird, they where so so bad, it felt like we didn't have to get out of neural. It felt almost odd, given we its at Old Trafford. They surely can't be any worse in the second, we lost a bit of sharpness in the last 15, so we need to remain focused otherwise it could bite us.
