  1. Prolly wanted to avoid injuries by going to the Thugby team. Much more peaceful in the Prem now that Barton, de Jong and the Wolves team out.
  2. Aye, with Crouch in there the flick-on will be a more common fixture now that they've got a finisher. Doubt his legs could still take the runs following the flick-ons though, but then again, it worked okay for Nolan...
  3. Aye the near post flick on would work well with us imo. Probs a more recent example to that... http://img.skysports.com/10/10/496x259/Newcastle-v-Sunderland-Kevin-Nolan-hattrick-_2521391.jpg We still have Ameobi and instinctive goalscorers as well.
  4. Aye. Not sure about this but I don't think he's scored for us past the 65th or 70th minute. He has twice, West Brom at home last season and from the spot v Stoke is what I remember. Ah right. Still not a good rate for those minutes like. I'd introduce the impact sub in this period but I don't think he'd take that.
  5. It's never been brilliant if we are totally honest, he's good for the first 65 mins of the game but then drops off. Aye. Not sure about this but I don't think he's scored for us past the 65th or 70th minute.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Did Messi get nailed in the knob by HBA or something?
  7. No. I honestly don't know where this stuff of the Norwich game being moved is coming from. We'd have only 2 days bet EL matchday one and Norwich if it's on a Saturday. Moving it to Sunday would allow an equal amount of rest between EL-Norwich and Norwich-ManU.
  8. Beyond crazy now in Twitter. Very sad.
  9. Not sure if posted but another player has died from a cradiac problem apparently. R.I.P.
  10. At least his crosses actually meant something.
  11. This. Their midfield will overpower us if we don't.
  12. Blatantly set us up for a broadcasted bumming like. Hope we can give them a massive troll face when all is done.
  13. Could imagine "DREAMBOOOOAAA...OHHHHH" as it was saved.
  14. Big money moves from Russians.

  16. About to be sold by Nike iirc.
  17. Taylor is a good enough CB imo but his injury record just doesn't make for good reading.

    Ryan Taylor

Really wish Cabaye buried that free kick, would just be the perfect tribute to the lad.

Still a long time out but extremely pleased it doesn't seem to be an Owen-esque one that forces him out for the season.
  20. These are the types of games that Tiote thrives in, and his passing only appears to be crap because often at times at home he's the one taking responsibility and trying to make things happen when others around him aren't doing anything, which we all know isn't his game. Away games when we're under more pressure, when we're trying to get a result is when he shines, winning the ball back, keeping possession ticking over. So you're totally wrong tbh. If I were you I'd hope he's out injured. Was the game two years ago Tiote's first start for us? I remember him being absolutely fantastic in that game, and I have no doubt that he will be if he's fully fit for this one too. Tiote had a 100% passing rate in that Everton game too.
  21. Rather do it now and edit in case I forget. GW4: 1. 1-1 2. 2-0 3. 1-1 4. 2-1 5. 4-1 6. 0-2 7. 1-1 8. 0-1 9. 1-2 10. 3-1
  22. Krul Anita Taylor Coloccini Santon Perch* Jonas Ben Arfa Cabaye Ba Cisse *Tiote if available. Customary 3-1 defeat, even if our team looks decent on paper. Just not enough people firing on all cylinders. 2 early second half goals (Considering our poor starts in previous games) will kill us, and a Hatem goal in the second half will be quickly followed by an Everton clincher.
