I said I would want £50-60m to entertain it and would prefer if he wasn't sold. Throughout the season I reduced this to reflect his performances and situation, since he was losing favour with Amorim which would obviously reduce his value. You seem to be taking some sort of moral high ground that after he had a poor season, we sold him for £40m, which is really weird. Don't forget we have a 10% sell on as well. When he's inevitably sold for a profit by Chelsea, the total amount we receive won't even be a kick in the arse off the original amount I said.
