We still don't know why Ashworth was turfed, but if the rumours are true and the Amorim appointment ruffled his feathers because he wanted Southgate or Potter then I'm genuinely happy he's gone.

Amorim has said that his main focus is getting everyone up to speed with his system. He's rotating like crazy and even has the youth teams playing the same formation. He said we'd try and pick up as many wins as possible but he needs everyone as fit as possible and used to the system before we can start to build. He's said from the start we'd still be shit for a while.

I think it's a wee bit deeper than that with Shaw. I think most of us think it's time for him to go due to his fitness, but nobody really blames him for his body falling apart. Shame as he's absolutely class.
