  1. Yeah you've got it right. Everything Rashford was hitting was going in. I think people forget how good we were under Ole. They just were desperate for him to fail and when he had the inevitable bad patch the pressure was ridiculous.
  2. From what I hear it definitely won't be both of them. One or the other. Ole knows he will never get it permanently. Carrick would have the hope that if he does well he'd be given a shot. Ole is the safer choice and the more popular choice with fans by some distance. He did extremely well and just had a bad patch of around 7 games where we lost badly to Liverpool, City, Villa and Watford (the final nail in the coffin). Even at that, we were 7th when he was sacked but since he had finished 3rd then 2nd he was almost a victim of his own success as the natural progression in expectation was a title challenge.
  3. You know who. You didn't need to ask.
  4. Zero chance of that. Aside from the fume, we'd get half of the transfer fee.

    Dogawful Officiating

Anyone see our disallowed goal? So soft.
  6. Aye they were absolutely awful. One goal was a wicked deflection from a cross that went in and the other was a wonder strike. We hit the woodwork a few times as well. Entertaining game, but obviously not as much as yours.
  7. Did you see their goals? Jammy bastards. Think they had a 0.2xG and had one shot on target and drew 2-2.
  8. We actually played really well last night too. Give Fletch what he wants.
  9. You're right. It's clear after one game this isn't working. Fletcher out.
  10. Not going to lie that made me feel a little bit better.
  11. We are stupidly unlucky and simultaneously extremely annoying.
  12. Preferred Ole's reign and it's not even close. Ole had the worst team of them all IMO but got a lot out of what he had. Finished 3rd and then 2nd with McTominay and Fred in midfield. He got absolutely everything out of Fernandes, Rashford and Martial. He trusted youth and gave absolutely loads of academy products their debut like Greenwood, Elanga, etc. Played the same way Fergie did and it was lovely to watch. He's been open that he went to the board and asked for many players and they didn't give him any of them. He asked for Haaland, Bellingham and Rice before they had blown up and he didn't get any of them. I don't think we signed a CM under him. The closest would have been Van de Beek. The board could have had more patience with Ole IMO but I'm convinced they wanted a bigger name. I feel like Ten Hag and Amorim had the most support by a mile. Ten Hag won two trophies in two years but he was hard to listen to. Amorim's communication was great but his results were shite. Moyes was a weapon in press conferences. Said all the wrong things and his football was boring. Jose had a good spell but ended in typical Jose fashion. A lot of moments to look back fondly on though.
  13. Asked my best mate the same question. "All the worst, except Ole."
  14. What do you mean by worst to best? Based on trophies or absolute fucking vibes mate? Probably the following: Solskjaer (best) Mourinho Ten Hag Van Gaal Amorim Rangnick Moyes (worst) If it's purely success based you can just look at trophies and win percentages and make the list yourself.
  15. I think the majority of their decisions can be justified. That doesn't mean I particularly agree with them. I wanted to keep Amorim, but I think there is plenty of justification in his sacking. I don't see that as flip-flopping or contradictory. Well aware I'm far from a flawless poster and post my fair share of rubbish though. I'm human.
  16. I just love my club. However if I come across on here like I'm loyal to INEOS then I'm coming across wrong. I'd be more than happy for them and the parasites in America to sell up and disappear tomorrow.
  17. You would not believe how stony-faced I am typing all of this out. I long to feel rattled. Maybe a cup final loss under Ole to Leeds or something and you might see it.
  18. We made him permanent manager because he was smashing everyone left and right. It was nothing to do with being rejected by managers. We will always attract top players and managers. This summer will be no different.
  19. Do you want me to dig up criticisms from myself of the board, managers and players? There have been many, many instances, especially with players. I don't think I've really agreed with the sacking of any manager as well. I can say that I would have kept Amorim, but that I also don't think it's a mistake from the board given his press conference and recent results. I had hoped the rock bottom standards comment would be seen as it was meant as well and it was tongue in cheek. Rock bottom standards = Europa League qualification. Ole will bring that IMO. When he was in charge last time that might not have been enough to save his job, but a lot has changed in five years.
  20. 1) what's your point? 2) we said immediately after Amorim's departure that an appointment would wait until the summer 3) no we weren't.
