What have I always said to you about Allison? Massively overrated. He's had a very bad game. All players do in their careers. They've won a Champions League and League Title with him. I just never see what others see in him with the ball at his feet. Not totally convinced as a shot stopper either. Guess he must be a good organiser.

Only a small company. I thought he was some sort of big thing given everyone talked about his great pedigree on Twitter etc when they first launched. Maybe I'm missing something...... I don’t think he’s ever been talked about as some big thing unless I’ve missed something? That’s why you can’t fault his sacrifice.

The question is would any other of the clubs from mid-table (and probably lower down also) up offer new contracts to Clark, Shelvey or Ritchie - the answer would be a big no. It's why this club is a total mess. I think that’s the same question I was asking

I was making the point that Rafa had a plan and Clark would’ve been gone by now and replaced. The fact he is getting a new contract and Lejune is the one that’s been shipped out highlights the problem I’m referring to. It’s not a personal thing against Clark. Like you say he’s a good pro as is Ritchie.

Clark isn't really an issue, he's been a proper pro and performs pretty good all things considered. It's Ritchie and Shelvey that are completely mind boggling. So you’d have Clark over Lejune in the squad?
