Newcastle United vs Manchester United - 11/02/2018 @ 14:15 - Live on Sky

I liked him before he came back like, I suppose followers of Spanish football started to hate him before then too. His egotistical craic and the way he seemed to be idolised by his squad back in his first Chelsea stint was petty admirable though. Seemed the same at Inter too. He didn't seem to take it well as soon as he wasn't at the top, Pep completely cracked him up. -
Other team needing a goal and putting more pressure on us? It’s easy to forget it’s a game of 2 sides when you’re looking at things through the perspective of your own team. We cannot just dictate how the game goes at will, nowhere close with our squad. There’s been games where the opposition have just been bad and we’ve managed to stay in control.

Shola at the World Cup was a landmark period of the game.
-
He pretty much scored an identical goal to the Chelsea first against Villa on his debut too (with his left though I think).
-
I wonder what happened with Cisse like, because like you say the goals he was scoring were all great finishes. It'd be pretty unlikely to hit a patch of luck like that.
-
We need to stick every player on our books in some sort of royal rumble with Lascelles.
-
Clark pulls attackers shirts all the time. I know the penalty seemed harsh but he's been asking for it all season.
-
FWIW I do think McClaren's squad was almost as bad, there really isn't much in it. The poor cunt had a midfield of Jack Colback and Vurnon Anita for half a season. He shouldn't have been given the job and personally I was happy to fuck him off at any point in the hope of us getting a proper manager in, regardless of how well he was doing. But aye, maybe he was 'hard done too', any manager is after half a season really. He also just looked completely defeated, the contrast with Rafa when we're on a shit run is huge.

For some context, Mohamed Diame is our best player.

It's like when West Brom scorrreeeee but Pardew's the mannnnager Nar? I'll fuck off them.

https://www.newcastle-online.org/forum/index.php?board=39.0 I think we need to update the forum rules.

That is truly thick as fuck like (from Mitrovic).
-
You aren’t being harsh, don’t mistake shite patter for being brutal or anything like You’re fabricating arguments because you have nowt, it’s pointless.
-
You're straw-manning the fuck out of this to make an argument like, there's no love in and nobody is saying Mitrovic isn't appalling infront of goal. You're just talking relentless shite. Mitrovic was shite all in all in his first season, he shouldn't have been our main striker and his lack of cutting edge cost us points. He still looked better than Joselu.
-
Spot on, incredible that anyone tries to dispute it. But we got relegated. With Mitro as our main striker. Incredible anyone tries to dispute that. Not a single person on planet earth has ever or will ever dispute that. What in the green fuck are you going onabout? We've persisted with Joselu for most of the season and he's been dreadful, he hasn't improved from his early season form and has never looked like improving - his record has never shown any signs of being any better than this either. It's fair enough to think that had Mitrovic been played instead he would have likely scored more and won us more points. It's like banking on a burnt McDonalds burger tasting better than mound of cow shite.
-
Mitrovic is quite comfortably a better striker than Joselu like, we've seen that with our own eyes. He wasn't good enough, Joselu is just genuinely fucking awful. It sounds like it's his own fault but if we get relegated I think it's fair to say not playing him at all in favour of Joselu was a ridiculous call.
-
Ben Arfa obviously was good enough though as he was comfortably our best player on the pitch

It's a positive sign that you've signed a true Brazilian tbh.

He looks really composed, Murphy is similar like that since he's found his feet. In comparison to Atsu who just sort of flies in any given direction hoping he ends up somewhere positive, if he slows down to think we may as well give the ball back to Darlow.
