  1. You not got decimals on? They're 19/10 on B365.
  2. Aye without a doubt the mackems. Southampton will be a really difficult tie. Sunderland we really should be beating unless we freeze up again, which we shouldn't given we actually have a proper manager this time who's had time to work with the squad.
  3. Does that not read worse for us? Scoring from set pieces is the best chance most teams have against us. Even Norwich* and Barnsley didn't look too dangerous against us in open play. *I know Norwich scored 3 like but they never created much.
  4. Yeah I agree, it's either him or Perez and you can make an argument for both really.
  5. aye. He was offside often but his movement was literally his best attribute. Both in getting into positions and closing down defenders. He never had a great career here on the whole, but there were 3 clear periods where he came good leading to him playing a massive part in us finishing 5th and keeping us up twice.
  6. height=400http://soccer-rumours.com/img/sara-davidson.jpg[/img] The odds are in her favour.
  7. The Shite Gayle stuff was a pisstake wasn't it? Anyone who was saying he's poor in-front of goal after the first half against Norwich were just being reactionary, he'd scored 4 in 7 before that game (5 in 8 at half time). I think Diame has been underwhelming but he definitely has something about him. I've wanted to see him tried out in CM like he was in his Wigan and early West Ham days, mainly because if Shelvey gets injured we're fucked there. EDIT: Perez has been shite for ages. Although he's had a couple of games where he's been the best player on the pitch. Obviously has a lot of talent but he's hardly making a meaningful contribution every time he plays.
  8. he talks utter shit about Newcastle, we get it.
  9. Nobody wanted us to keep him He scored 1-in-2 the season before last and kept us up. Utter shite though, aye...
  10. It's a shite forum though with awful moderation. I also don't visit Stormfront.
  11. It's the internet, man, it's full of people like dangermows It's appalling craic but he's not going to stop, he thinks he's razor sharp. It's what the internet does to people.

    Matz Sels

We should chip in for a card telling him to FUCK OFF.
  13. He always put a shift in, not sure if I could ever go as far as saying he tried his best though He was our best attacking player for a long time and literally the only player capable of carrying the ball up the pitch, as much as I think he's a total cunt, and as overrated as his actual abilities were by some, nothing changes that. He would walk into our starting XI now man, howay "£30m lol" 'n all that, whatever, he's not worth half of that but he's not the complete joke of a footballer people are desperate to make him out to be, yous will just end up looking daft.
  14. Colback rarely gives the ball away, which is basically what he's in the side for. Provide a bit of energy in midfield and then pass it along to someone better. As much as I think Hayden has looked impressive, especially given his age, I think this is a tactical decision and not him just being protected. Rafa obviously knows a lot more about how to put together a functioning midfield than myself like, so I can only assume he's right
  15. It helps that he's playing at a level where he's nearly always the most talented player on the pitch by a mile. The real test is next season He's apparently putting in a lot more work outside of training though, I'm sure someone on here said they spotted him doing laps of the cricket ground in Chester-le-Street.
  16. Sounds like something Ched Evans would say.
  17. It's what the Man City owners did isn't it? Probably a lot harder in Newcastle though given the lack of space around the ground.
  18. Getting on a bit though. Sure Wullie (?) brought up a stat which showed his goals dried right up in the 2nd half of last season.
