Not a chance that's true mind

Elanga, or a guy with 1 leg who can do loads of around the worlds and has a really good volley on him?
-
If they were good at it I wouldn't mind It's that they constantly swoop up and steel players as the financial rules were made to let them do, then they completely ruin the players career. Same again next year. Literally no benefit to anyone except people getting a random payday.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)
Hanshithispantz replied to joeyt's topic in Football
Harvey Elliott is good, just far too small. He'd be an excellent signing for someone but doubt he'd fit in here. I get not taking U21 tournaments too seriously, but Anderson did it week in week out in the Premiership, the U21 games are just a decent opportunity to see his style for anyone who didn't see much of Forrest. -

Have you actually watched him last season? He has very little footprint on the internet for some reason, so it's been hard to see him without actually watching Forrest or the England U21s, but he's looked excellent. He covers a lot of ground and wins the ball all over the pitch, can make line breaking passes, switches it with ease, and can dribble through if needed. He broke through the Dutch midfield last night with an outrageous turn near the 90th minute. The Bruno regen comments are spot on. He'd arguably be starting over Joelinton and given he's only 22 his attacking output could improve too. -
Fucking hell, he is good Elliott like
-
I'd rather stick with Murphy and Isak. As much as I love Bruno, Tonali etc, Isak is the only player we have who is so far beyond what we could replace him with that it's hard to imagine us ever benefiting from his sale. Liverpool did similar with Salah and they won the league, not a chance they're 2025 champions without him.

I know Beadle's a lurch but that's outrageous
-
Aye, it says he's 5ft 7 on wiki but surely he's closer to 5ft 2? It throws you off seeing him stand next to other players in the lineups.

Howe has previously said every window that we are skint because of PSR tbf, where as this window he's said PSR isn't the issue it was for us.

Essential viewing that like. Whoever sorted that out on the media side needs piping off.

Never realised just how small Harvey Elliott was, as if Howe would go anywhere near that ffs

'kids' I'm assuming?

As long as she keeps his balls emptied and his focus on the pitch. -
Someone said the other day João Pedro had won most of the penalties he scored, which goes some way to boosting his goal contributions if not counting the goals themselves.

Don't think Anderson would have taken off like he has had he stayed here like. Too much in Bruno's shadow. Like with Wood, Forrest have to take a lot of credit for identifying players we weren't getting the most from and transforming them. One of the rare occasions I'm actually glad we sold a player who turns out to be class. It's nice to see him doing well.
-
Pretty interesting graphic given we seemed to be less intense this season.
-
It fits with how we originally bid for Maddison too, granted that was with Trippier at RB. It always seemed an odd bid, given his lack of physicality, but it showed we were possibly willing to play with a playmaker on the wing. Joelinton too isn't your traditional winger but Howe's played him RW.

Aye I'd take Joao Pedro over Delap every day like. Cunha was the one for me, but João Pedro has a lot of the same qualities and is probably stronger. He scored 20 from 40 in all comps last season (not just gone), he has another level to go up and would be more than capable of filling in for Isak.

Labourers sprint 8 miles a shift as well which really highlights the problem.

It's not an original opinion, but Lee Dixon is the worst person in football like.

If Michael Owen was a football club.
