  1. What is Chelsea's position going to be if they fail to qualify for the CL again? Man Utd are also already butting up against FFP, hence why they had to loan Arambat. They’re either going to have to change the rules again to suit them, or end up hoisted on their own petards
  2. That’s one of my issues with it, especially given how Chelsea and Man Utd continue to inflate the transfer market. Over three seasons you can now lose a Moises Caicedo. It’s not just at the top end of the market either. Chelsea and City have the whole foreign talented youth segment tied up too.
  3. And Coutinho, Sterling and Suarez. Every club has had to trade players to some extent. The thing we need to get right is who we sell too IMHO. Selling Bruno to PSG or Real, would sting a hell of a lot less than to a fellow PL team
  4. Is he returning from Belgium? Im sure I saw tweets from him rubbishing the claims before Christmas
  5. I find it odd that he has an issue with the trans community using men’s toilets, given that the cigar eye stubbing, wife head kicking wanker, has no balls and a tiny little choad no bigger than a clit himself ??‍♂️
  6. I think another factor that makes this unlikely is how likely are we to allow him to move to Man Utd before September the 1st. Remember the fee we had to pay and the extended gardening leave Brighton made him sit out before he was allowed to join us? There is no way we wouldn’t be insulating ourselves in a similar way, were he to move from us. So are Man Utd happy to hold out for the person they see as the best fit and remain rudderless for the next two windows? Or do they get someone currently available, who can come in and have an immediate effect? Just my two pennies worth
  7. Ritchie's? Is Manquillo in the squad? As he must be off somewhere else soon
  8. Debbie McGee wouldn’t have enjoyed being in the video near that danger Alex James though. Was surprised his name wasn’t in the Epstein papers tbh
  9. I didn’t say it was? I’m well aware of this issues that their redevelopment has caused, but it’s no different to the gentrification that has happened in every city post redevelopment. Abu Dhabi aren’t responsible for the broken U.K. housing market, that existed far before they took over City
  10. Well yes but have Abu Dhabi not completely redeveloped much of east Manchester?
  11. You’re presuming that the owners aren’t intending to do similar to the Man City owners to that deprived area of the city. Was the fact that Newcastle is ripe for redevelopment not part of the appeal?
  12. Sounds like me after being in Moray for the best part of 25 years. Especially in the new job, the first time I was home and uttered the words "I dinnae ken" I knew I was ruined ? in fairness as an older adult CPN, visiting the elderly in their own homes I've had to pick up a fair bit of Doric to be able to understand them
  13. he goes for significantly more than 70-80M, remember the fees midfielders with potential go for now
  14. The sad reality is we have to consider the fact that Bruno might be the one driving for this and that him leaving in the summer may be a possibility. We are going to have to trade players over the next few years, and we might not be able to keep our best players at this stage in the club's journey
  15. There’s still half a season to play, we’ve hopefully had our horrific spate of injuries and poor form. There’s no telling what might befall other teams in the coming months. Anyone making any solid predictions at this stage needs giving the same credence as Mystic Meg
  16. MRI scans aren’t always conclusive guys, wasn’t until the second scan that my MCL and meniscus tear was picked up. You'd hope imaging would be always conclusive but it doesn’t work that way.
  17. Pacy Centre half, genuine first team winger who is creative and a powerful and pacy CDM
  18. It’s the young Brazilian lad Santos, who was on loan at Forest.
  19. Physically he had everything, he did look good alongside Woodgate who had the footballing intelligence to help Marshall him through games. It all went wrong when his defensive partners were as equally brainless
  20. I'd argue ability wise he was, just didn’t have the mentality to fully realise it
  21. All of the players you’ve listed were full Internationals? They may not have been the absolute best in their respective positions, but they’re not mediocre players either. They all consistently played in team's that played in one of Europe's top 5 leagues. I think what has happened post-Fergie has messed with some people's minds over how good you had to be to consistently play for Man Utd too tbh. I think we are mainly arguing about definitions of what a "mediocre player" is tbh, clearly your definition, includes players with a hell of a lot more ability than mine.
  22. like who? There aren’t many "mediocre" players that play at that level, never mind win them both. Maybe need to recalibrate your idea of mediocre if you genuinely think that’s true.
  23. Well it could also be because a few of them were available at the £25-30M mark, which seams to be a similar level to which European talent goes for too. The fact we are fishing in the same pond as other clubs who can offer bigger wages, means we probably miss out on lots of players too. That’s the advantage of English players I guess they know our potential for growth better than those from abroad.
  24. TBF he did win a CL and PL title, which is a medal haul far better than most ever achieve
