Diaby was on a similar fee to Tonali and reportedly significantly higher wages Kudus, was over £40 million with add ons and given the league he signed from represented a significant risk. Reported wages In line if not higher than our biggest earners too. I don't think either would've saved us any money, lets be honest it's not that we couldnt afford Tonali. Its not just them though, there was also RIce going for £100M+ as a proven PL midfielder. Man Utd have also spent £75-80 million on far inferior players to Bruno in recent windows.
