  1. This 👆 He’s basically allowed himself to be this season's Tosin. Chelsea will flip him next summer for a healthy PSR profit
  2. You see this kind of stuff is why I’m amazed the PFA haven’t challenged PSR on age discrimination grounds given it specifically disadvantages older players. Remember when clubs preferred to sign players at 27/28 because they were in their prime?
  3. You’d have thought that thick bellend might’ve learnt his lesson after that Lewis Hall and Mazraoui comparison he did this time last year. Let’s be honest is anyone surprised that the content creators associated with that club, mirror the vast majority of Man Utd fans we all know and love. By being classless, ignorant and utterly unknowledgeable fuckwits?
  4. How that ginger window licker dares to show his face in public, after that video of him and his daughter’s feet emerged is beyond me like
  5. It’s a big if though, Cunha doesn’t exactly scream model professional and Šeško whilst exciting is still relatively unproven. Commentators who watched lots of Amorim's time at Sporting have suggested he isn’t really the ideal candidate for his system, heck there were an awful lot of media reports that Amorim himself was unsure of the lad. Mbuemo is likely the surest thing out of the three, but he wouldn’t be the first player to perform well elsewhere, that’s wilted under the pressure at OT.
  6. Not unless Amorim learns some pragmatism and tactical flexibility. Honest question, even if he gets his preferred players for his system. How long until most teams develop an effective counter to a rigid system, that he refuses to deviate from?
  7. Well as you’ve stated it’s nearly a month further into the window for them too, likely making any potential replacement more expensive for them too
  8. Yup realised seconds after I hit send 🤦🏻
  9. Hall-sequel loan with option to buy?
  10. Unless the hospitalisation has dampened his appetite for full time work in football, I can’t see him being interested in an international job for a decade or more yet. The bloke is too hands on. FWIW I am also not sure his minute detail, pattern based football would translate well into an international setup either, given the relatively short time spent training together
  11. You say that but they bought multiple centre halves last summer, then loaned out Chalobah, who then ended up playing a load of games for them in the second half of the season. Anyone thinking there’s a coherent plan beyond "we've gotta sign all the young players" at Chelsea hasn’t been paying attention for the last three years
  12. So why had we bid a similar amount for Ekitike prior to any noise about Isak leaving, if we're skint then? I know we've been unsuccessful so far but ffs you can’t suggest we haven’t been putting substantial bids in for players all summer
  13. So this window is just the mildest inconvenience now then is it?
  14. He didn’t though did he? Wise and Veterre over ruled him as they thought Modric was too short and weak for the PL
  15. I doubt they know who the fuck Jason Wilcox is either, but he clearly presented a better pitch to Sesko than Andy Howe
  16. I'm purely talking about him selling Newcastle to prospective signings, not taking training FFS its pretty clear whoever is tasked with that job currently, Is making a fucking royal pigs ear of it!
  17. Has this window proved that we need this guy in a role at the club, where he can sell the vision of what Newcastle United can be to prospective signings particularly from abroad? If we are being easily beaten to signings from a Man Utd team at their lowest ebb in living memory, we need some spark from somewhere
  18. Yeah but it's Chelsea they'll be trying to replace Pedro and Delap next summer regardless of how well they do, it’s just the way they’re run
  19. Again, have we agreed a fee with RB Liepzig yet? Everyone is presuming it’s the kid himself that’s the hold up, there’s every chance it’s the club trying to initiate a bidding war
  20. I know I’ve said it before but I’m convinced he's actually Garry from Widnes, playing a character from his mam's spare room
  21. In the context of there being 30 years between these two and their previous one perhaps? Don’t get me wrong we'd have killed to have their trophy haul during that period. But let’s not pretend that they were not also-rans for much of those three decades. They were effectively what Arteta's Arsenal currently are for most of Klopp rein too
  22. As much cachet as Man Utd still have (Although given his age can he actually remember when they were good?) if he goes there over us if our financial packages re the same I’ll be bewildered. It should be as simple as our negotiating team saying "compare how things have gone for Isak to Hojlund"
  23. Yeah but hopefully that’s when the likes of Sansusi, Shahar, Finneran etc are hopefully beginning to at least fill the bench (or generate some funds in sales rather than moving for free to the Northern League) not all funds need to be generated by existing first team squad members, I mean Minteh is the most recent example of this (as galling as having to sell him was)
