Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Newcastle United (04/01/25)

It wasn’t just the Gordon challenge though, I think it was about two or three minutes before the Botman booking, Bruno was on a break and Porro (if I remember correctly) stepped across him and clearly obstructed and fouled Bruno, only for him to be allowed to carry on. Which made what happened with Maddison slightly later all the more infuriating, as Botman didn’t move and Maddison initiates the contact. -

Said exactly than on Bluesky and as much as I generally enjoy Ally on co-comms he and his fellow ex-pros are the worst for not knowing the rules. It infuriates me given that they’re paid to comment on the game, ffs spend a bit of time doing some research, it’s literally what you’re paid to do. Do you think you would get away with not knowing the shit pertaining to your job as frequently as these clowns do? -
@Mods change this twats display name to Drill Bit please, for lack of self awareness if nothing else 🤦🏻♂️

Has anything like that happened under the current ownership? I don't know if you realised but Ashley left 3 years ago God some of our fanbase really could do with therapy
-
You've made a bit of a tit of yourself here 😂

And another two a few days later 🤣

And where's the chart for when VAR look at something and just ignore it? The Liverpool game alone had multiple instances of that happening FFS

Surely you’d just fuck off the football entirely and lean into the Northern Soul angle, or at least follow Rugby League. Turning to the "Wearyside" though is just unintelligible 🤷🏻♂️

Right there may be an element of lowering expectations going on during that interview, however let’s all remember that Eddie said he knew nothing about Harvey Barnes signing him, when he was literally a matter of feet away

Will people look at past examples and think maybe Howe knows what he's doing. The exact same rubbish was said about Hall being an Ashworth signing last year -
FFS these Sky Commentators, the one covering the West Sham v Brighton game it’s Kudus not Kudos you illiterate bint 🤦🏻

Wish someone had told Dalgliesh that when he was here

Now do a table for wage bill and see who is significantly ahead of us. Looking at transfer spend without additional context is trying to be disingenuous IMHO

Not sure how much sense is spoken here, but interesting take if nothing else -
As someone who lives in Scotland I say fuck that! I don’t think people realise the issues that both the Glasgow and Edinburgh teams cause from a policing standpoint. English football has worked hard to get away from the 70’s and 80’s shit. I see someone else talking about "fan culture", I’m sorry sectarian hatred isn’t football culture. Leave the dickheads arguing about which church they don’t attend on a Sunday where they are

Neither was Sellars, he was a definite starter and was responsible for a load of Cole and Beardsley goals. He unluckily got injured and Ginola had been signed by the time he got himself fit again

Dan Ashworth (no longer working for Manchester United)

Probably differet stipulations on being sacked than looking to leave of your own volition -
It’s almost like no team other than Liverpool has been consistent on any level

I find it amusing that Arsenal spent years complaining about Stoke under Wenger, have seemingly turned into Stoke under Arteta despite spending oodles of cash

I think I posted on Bluesky, that I felt sorry for the cleaner having to clean up Tyldesley's commentary box bukkake party after Salah got their third. Honestly sounded like he jizzed in his pants

Gordon's first big chance, Murphy Hit the post, Murphy 1 on 1, Isak's marginal offside and probable penalty are big chances that quickly come to mind for us too. Not to mention I think VVD was "lucky" not receive punishment for his deliberate and cynical foul on Gordon.

I think Hall showed his defensive naivety letting the ball bounce for Salah's assist, as a defender I was always told not to let a ball bounce like that and thankfully I never had to mark a player like Mo
