Sorry but that goal came from Livramento switching off and letting Tavernier waltz into the box unchallenged, on the other side of the pitch to where Kelly was. He was deeper that the other defenders, but that’s not how Tavernier's goal happened

Clearly not a lot of psychologically minded folk on here, do you not think it might’ve been a bit of a headfuck for him going back there? Didn’t think he was great, but didn’t think he was as terrible as some on here are making out. Let’s be honest it was primarily our right that was exploited during the spell where they bossed things. Not too unsurprising given who we had playing there

I’d imagine he plays at Forest on Wednesday, see how he gets on there -

They're talking about the sleeve, but if my memory serves that was only ever intended to be used as a marker for defensive actions. Ie a defender goes to block a shot, it hits his sleeve, no handball and no subsequent free kick or penalty. But if you put the ball in the back of the net whilst attacking with your arm it’s a fucking handball -

No because he got a yellow, for example see Havertz at St James' last season -

Surely that’s for giving a penalty etc, not for scoring a goal with the arm. -
How do you know he has? The way people repeat this supposition as if it’s fact astounds me

There’s Rory Finneran too, just waiting for the tribunal to determine the fee

Now if we are talking about genuinely grim places in that part of the world can I suggest Telford. Basically a few small towns they’ve tried to make a bigger conurbation by putting a shopping centre and retail parks in the middle. Tried to avoid that place like the plague while I lived down there, basically bypassing it and going to Shrewsbury instead, which is another really good night out if you’re ever in that part of the world.
-
Nope Wolves is actually decent night out for a start, you haven’t got to travel far outside of the centre before it’s rougher than a badgers arse though
-
Thought the double jeopardy rule had stopped that happening, would’ve just been a penalty now no?
-
What would the Fairs Cup be classed as then?
-
Which was it? Lack of attacking fret, not middle class enough or was science just simply against him?
-
Been impressed by Billy Gilmour every time I’ve seen them play too. Seems odd if he’s off elsewhere as rumoured

Highland League not still on somewhere near? Be prepared to be appalled at the standard mind, I even used to get a game 😂

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

I'm sorry, but I can already imagine how this place would have reacted to a great deal of his decision making during today’s match. He’d have gotten pelters -

Well I think to me at least, that it’s clear if we should be getting upset at a Brighton player we missed our chance with, is that player should be Joao Pedro -

You do realise there are multiple people on here don’t you? I can guarantee I have never shat the bed about selling a player for over £30M, who had never kicked a ball for us -

Hmmm looks like we fleeced Brighton for £33M based on his showing so far today -
Will have to give it another go, but stopped it after about 5 minutes of last Sunday's long run. Started off with some what appeared to be comedy in jokes and I wasn’t in the mood to listen to that whilst hauling my fat arse around for 13 miles 😂

I get what you’re saying, it’s just that I see it as apart from Arsenal and Man City there's uncertainty about every other team competing for a European place. Whilst I understand the standing still is going backward argument, I’d argue the signings of Kelly and Osula have raised the floor of the squad, and the fact that no European football should theoretically mean the squad is loaded less, whin in turn means we should be able to remain competitive.

And your posts are giving me strong Laurence Fox "she's turned the Bairns against me" vibes -
I can guarantee that Tapsoba would turn out to be a shite signing if that fraud @Alan Pardew was still in our dugout. Im not sure Yanga Mbiwa would have flopped here if we had a manager capable of pronouncing th correctly

Jesus this place is full of people who just like to be contrarian and want to argue. If you’re telling me anyone at the club knew we were going to be in a position to sell Minteh for over £30m last summer, ask them to tell you the lottery numbers. The point I was making is we have signed a lot of kids for the academy at various age points with differing levels of experience, I’m sure some at the club have hopes that some may make it to the first team and others will develop enough to make the club a tidy profit. Which is exactly what the likes of Brighton do. They’re just further along in the process and have a more defined process for getting that talent into their first team or into high profile loans elsewhere. I believe this is something Newcastle want to improve dramatically and the appointment of Mitchell will hopefully be an important stepping stone on the way to that becoming a reality
