No Elanga doesn’t have to be a striker to bury that chance and I reckon 8or9 times out of 10 he does if presented with that chance again
-
Been said earlier he was in a slump in form before we bought him, probably struggled with the pressure of the situation here post move too. Following summer was third choice. Let’s not forget it took him a while to find his feet back at Forest again too
-
Id be more surprised if he even completes 5 full 90’s never mind scores in them. It’s a real shame the toll the injuries have taken on him these past two years.
-
And yet on another day could’ve been 0-1 up after less than 5 minutes. I swear some people on here could pull their dream woman and complain they had the wrong colour lingerie on, the following day. Some of you lot make Eyore look like he's been on the Mitsubishis
-
Think that’s bad try teaching them (shivers at the memories)
-
Yup just another way in which Pep has bloody ruined football
-
I think what this summer has shown is that it would be really prudent for the club to start hoovering up some strikers at this level to ensure there’s at least one sorta ready to make the step up, if we find ourselves in a predicament like this summer in the future
-
They’ve bought a shit load of players and tied down MGW down to a new deal, the £40m headroom from Elanga doesnt cover their business so far, never mind what’s being reported as in the pipeline. Remember this is a club that has been at the limit or beyond it since promotion.
-
Who are they selling to balance their books? They’re can’t have had much PSR headroom despite them qualifying for Europe
-
Liverpool Fan perspective engaged “Wolves are never going to be able to sign another player, if they don’t let Larsen sign for a bigger club" “it’s embarrassing to keep hold of a player that is interested in going elsewhere" “Wolves want over £50m, we’ll he's not worth that and we won’t overpay, but we’ll still get him"
-
He was also subbed, I don’t think he'd rack up many more KMs back on the bench
-
The bare faced cheek of it,” I need to put my side across” and then just repeat what his agent has been feeding the media for weeks. No mention of the three years left on his contract either unsurprisingly. People have been feeding their own narrative apparently, the only persona saying anything about it publicly has been your agent and his client journalists its outright cowardice and greed now, put in a transfer request or turn up to work tomorrow you fucking entitled Man Child

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

But in this instance he may actually prefer to come back to us -
I'm not even sure it’s entirely that either. The way PSR has changed the market is largely making this uncharted territory to some extent. I’d argue in a pre PSR world Liverpool don’t go big on Ekitike and likewise for Man Utd and Šeško. traditionally they’d have been bought by these clubs after they’d become proven in the PL at a club like Newcastle, Brighton or Bournemouth. Do we have to pivot our approach to exploit different markets, such as slightly older players on cheaper fees or frees maybe once, the market is properly realigned on fees for that category of player

You do realise Eze isn’t actually that much younger don’t you? Everyone seems to think he's a bairn still, but he's 27 and never put up the numbers in a season Wissa has (different position I know)
-
Not just that, the reason his numbers aren’t as good before then is because he played wide as Toney was their main striker. The same as Mbuemo’s numbers not being as good until Toney’s ban/move
-
We've all been there at least once 😂
-
especially if they’re the club that finally confirm the 14 American majority owned clubs, to further diminish English football
-
Fucked if I know, my fates even worse, I’ve been married to a nightclub one night stand for over 16 years now 😂
