  1. Fact is, had Keegan not resigned, we would almost certainly been one of the big 4. he resigned because we didn't have the money for him to carry on the way he wanted. Being in the champions league every season would have funded his spending
  2. I also think it was taking off a creative outlet for a holding player that did it, as much as he isn't exactly liked I can't imagine the same reaction would have occurred if it had been Obertan, Sammy or Ranger coming on.
  3. Considering how quick they were to push the button on Hughton I'm amazed Pardew has lasted this long if I'm being honest
  4. Can i change it to a ten? If he stays we are doomed, I'm just glad we already have 21 points otherwise we could have been challenging Derby for lowest points total. Totally incompetent management
  5. Have to say I agree, The guy must realise that playing for a 1-0 at home from 60 minutes onwards is suicide.
  6. Absolutely terrible substitutions and clueless tactics from Pardew again. We are going down if he remains in charge, have we ever played well in both halves of a game under this buffoon?
  7. Think £45 a pop for away at Norwich is taking the piss too to be honest. Should be a cap at £30 IMO
  8. I see Marc Walton is claiming to be ITK on Twitter again. Apparently we are looking at getting Danny Graham. Pretty sure he was all over the Andy Carroll stuff to whci turned out to be bollocks. Would be funny if we let Sunderland cover anther strikers travel costs though lol
  9. Both? surely that should be all three throwing Shola into the mix too
  10. To be fair it's the manager who should be aware after watching the lad for two years now that he can be effective for 20 minutes against tiring legs. However he cannot play 90 minutes of football. Shola doesn't pick himself the blame for the fact he's started our last two games has to lie with Pardew.
  11. I think it's clear that Xisco is either totally disinterested or just plain crap, Pardew isn't the only manager to totally overlook the lad.
  12. I actually think he's done more than Shola in his two sub appearances. It's a shite state of affairs but better his energy than expecting Shola to manage 90 minutes twice in 4 days. Although what message it sends to the other young players like Campbell I'm not sure
  13. Hope there's no truth to this, but it does look like his heart isn't in it recently http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2013/01/03/3646268/-?
  14. no love for the nomads like ? Surely they're reasonably well known to anyone who likes guitar music?
  15. If you aren't familiar with Turbonegro then I'd advise hitting youtube and searching for their tunes along with The Hellacopters and Backyard Babies too, great Scandinavian garage rock
  16. I wouldn't say he's flopped at West Ham. Well he did still fail a medical here last year did he not? Which would make it very strange for us to go back in for him
  17. Did Maiga not fail a medical here last year? If so why would we go back in for him, especially as he's flopped at West Ham?
  18. Broke his toe against Arsenal apparently, so is out for a few games
  19. PSG possibly? Although you'd imagine they could buy better strikers than him. Just wish this was resolved one way or another, has been tedious with all the speculation every window since he joined
  20. To be honest I hate the potato faced twat for a million reasons. His decision not to wear a poppy however isn't one of them. I find the current poppy fascism a bit bemusing to be honest. If you truly believe that the guys you're remembering tomorrow did lay down their lives for freedom, then surely you can't take issue with someone who exercises that right? Just to add I'm a currently serving Airman, I don't think there should be any pressure put on people to wear a poppy if they don't wish to do so.
  21. Bloody auto correct, I meant Blatent patently
  22. After all of the complaining about Suarez diving is it any wonder when yet again Olsen gets away with what was a patent pen. I think I'd dive all over with minimal contact if the officials I played with were so myopic
  23. That's what I'm saying tho, that acceleration seems to have deserted him the last few games. It was particularly noticeable against Danny Rose where he seemed unable to beat him.
  24. Am I the only one who thinks he looks a yard off the pace? I know what people are saying about him being tired from all of the defending, but in the last 3 or 4 games he seems to be lacking that burst to beat players. Is it just a case of him being up against very quick full backs? I'm sure he had a better explosive burst in the first few games and second half of last season.
