    St James' Park

Not to be patronising, but isn’t it about 100 yards further up the road? Or am I missing something?
  2. Been thinking the same today. Just a waste of time hanging about.
  3. D. I used to think he was a good option coming off the bench but he’s offered so little this season.
  4. For the first time I have a feeling we’re going to win. Isak to bag 2, Liverpool get one back but we’ll hold on for a nervy win. Howay the fucking lads!
  5. Early in his time here, I thought he’d always be an E. Now I’d give him C- but that is an incredible transformation for him.

    St James' Park

I don’t know anybody who has 1 in 4 stores access rate. Seems a lot less, albeit a small sample size.

As an ex-season ticket holder, now member, 65k would be very disappointing. If the team becomes more successful, which I guess is the aim, tickets will become harder and harder to get. Also think there’s a big trend for people wanting to go to see live sport. I think Arsenal, Spurs and the likes wish they had built bigger stadiums.
  8. Was a B now a C, still prefer him over Dubs
  9. C but with great potential to become a B. Would help massively to have a decent right winger in front of him.
  10. The only A in our squad IMO. It’s a privilege to watch him play in black and white.
  11. He's a B. Still one of the best in the league but his decision making and end product are frustrating at times.

    Match Atmosphere

Was right next to the away fans and it was OK. Not the best but I’ve been in far worse atmospheres at SJP

    Alexander Isak

Will be the most devastating transfer since Andy Cole
  14. B for Tonali. Love him but I don’t think he’s done enough yet to think he’d walk into any team in the world.
  15. B- for Big Joe. Think he’d be an active member of any squad in the league. Better than your average Premier League starting player.
  16. People did leave in protest though to try to force Ashley to sell. Many of these are our most dedicated fans with many giving up loyalty points I could only dream of having. They’d sat through worse times than when Rafa left but enough was enough. Also, the way our away fan base is going, I think it’s time to get some of those fans back and younger ones in, if it’s ever to return to what it once was.
  17. D+, C-, B, C- and probably an E Great thread but depressing reading so far!
  18. I think he's referring to away games and cup final tickets. Most big clubs don't give (almost) exclusive rights to ST holders for these tickets as there'll always be more people that want STs than can have them. It's not been an issue for us over the past 20/25 years as STs were almost always available and you could argue that the most dedicated fans should get priority. Since the new owners have stopped selling STs and members rights haven't been upgraded, all away tickets and about 98% of cup final tickets go ST holders/corporates. You could argue that the loyalist fans would have held STs under Bruce but that's a contentious subject putting it mildly. Plus, younger fans who are now in a position to go to the games also don't have the option of buying STs.
  19. That’s quite a leap. Would have thought human trafficking to be a financially sustainable operation.
  20. They can claim what they like, who honestly cares but them?
  21. Yeah, it’ll be class, can’t wait!
  22. As well as Dubs, Burn and Murphy have done for us this season, we need to upgrade all of them (plus Schar now too) if we want to progress.
  23. That’s where I’m at, don’t want to blow my load now and find out we’ve got an fa cup final against Palace or somebody in a few months time.
