Not sure its bitterness, some people just think he's going to end up similar to Demba Ba at Chelsea, might be wrong. I tend to agree that he's unlikely to play that much, Arsenal would have been a much better move. Arsenal pulled out of any potential move
  2. The worst football correspondent on the plant.
  3. It'll be interesting to hear the views tomorrow even if it is shit most of the time.
  4. We'll still have Ando championing his cause tomorrow on total sport dear oh dear "He's being poorly treated by the board" blah blah I hope to fuck someone calls in tomorrow with the cold hard facts of his reign here, maybe I should.
  5. I think he's finally on the ropes properly, it's starting to gather pace. Just a couple more awful results needed

I don't know why people are bitter A top quality proven striker signing for a team aiming for the league title and champions league. Ofcourse he'll get games, Drogba is only going to be bit part so at the very least he'll be coming on in league matches second half, cups and occasional champions league match. He's second on line and Costa will pick up the odd niggle. His other choice was playing for Pardew where he'd be completely isolated in a tactically awful side with the sole ambition of finishing mid table. He might be impressed by the fans and stadium but that's not enough is it.
  7. A player like this should never be a starter. He should be allowed time to bed in, coming on as a sub, working to get his confidence up which is crucial given his limitations. As it is he's isolated up front and all the pressure is on him to get the goals ffs. I mean you couldn't make it up It's awful, truly awful player management.
  8. The way we're playing, the upcoming fixtures and the limited chances of Ashley bringing in many more players means there's a degree of inevitability unfolding I think. You can't polish a turd and I think we may well be approaching the end game.......finally. The problem will then be who the oaf in charge replaces him with.
  9. Spot on. This is why now Pardew is truly f***ed. Spot on
  10. Pardew needs a striker to bail him out otherwise he's completely screwed and that's ignoring the fact that the defence is woeful too.
  11. Where's that Stuart Robson clip commenting on Pardew?
  12. With any luck Saints will put us away, they're playing well and confident. That'll then create massive pressure going into the Hull match.
  13. He's on heading back onto the ropes again.......you cant polish a turd
  14. He'll look to move on a free in the summer or hope everything goes tits up and Pardew gets binned.

Whatever people think about him it'd still be a decent signing for Chelsea as he's guaranteed to score goals.
  16. A poor result on sat and things could get "interesting" at St James Caller Albert summed it up on bbc Newcastle phone in that we don't look like coming close to scoring at the moment.
  17. Logic doesn't apply to the decision making at the club and they'll do the absolute bare minimum
  18. Yeah you're right, I'm keen to see what it is too. In the past this is the type of game I'd have gone to, not a chance now
  19. Reading at home was my turning point. The week before we played out an awful 0-0 draw with Norwich, which I defended and said if we get pts at home to Reading a 4 pt haul would be decent. Of course i never thought Pardew could be that stupid with his subs against Reading and deciding to hold a lead from the 55 minute mark. The man is a dick. I remember going to that match with a stinking cold too, I couldn't believe what I saw that day, literally. Went in 1-0 at halftime after Cabaye's free kick and was chatting to the bloke next to me where we both said "surely he can't bottle this one". He did, panicked completely, put Ameobi on right wing, we punted long balls up field, McDermott saw Pardew and the team had lost our arses/bottle/everything, put Le Fondre on who subsequently out the game away. My god
  20. His general cluelessness and awful tactics have been papered over by two things imo. Firstly the likes of Ba and Remy have bailed him out in games where we've been poor but nicked a goal thus meaning people purely look at the result and eventual league position. Secondly I think there's the financial element whereby a lot of fans have been taken in by the whole "financial cautiouesness" angle. That the need to stay in the league is the only thing that matters and the club has played on this. Combine this with the constant drumming down of ambition the club has worked on and you have fans who are seemingly happy to put up with dross football and finishing mid table. When actually what fans actually want is quite simply......a decent manager getting the team to play decent football with adequate "realistic" investment with a view to finishing as high up the table as possible or going for a cup or two. Beggars belief that he gets such an easy ride from the press though. I was one of the later ones on here who turned having initially been surprised by what I read on here. Performances like the Reading home loss two seasons ago started to turn me and by the beginning of last season I'd had enough. I now just find it bemusingly comical listening to the stuff he comes out with now.
  21. I agree, I accepted defeat a while ago. It's more a strange degree of amusement at how ridiculous it's got as opposed to a raging inferno of hate. Occasionally the old blood pressure goes up but generally I'm more relaxed about things. He just continues to make himself look like a cunt and eventually he'll get found out, eventually.......
  22. Pardew giving it the big'un. He doesn't even have Remy to bail him out this season ffs
