  1. Imagine an “im Spartacus” moment where each player stands up at the training ground saying they are the mole ?
  2. Yes Sunday is really a sliding doors moment. If they win I think they’ll go on and cobble together enough results/points particularly as Pool could beat Fulham. The gap could be 6. Lose and the implosion will continue
  3. It’s absurd that should we lose against West Brom that he wouldn’t be sacked
  4. I think we’re pretty much done. The injuries combined with the complete cluelessness and lack of leadership from the manager will see us down. You could argue there’s still a chance to remove him and get someone in to gee the lads up and at least give them some clarity. Won’t happen though.
  5. Well summed up. Same mistakes, time and again, is it any surprise we are where we are with the ludicrous decisions that are made ?‍♂️
  6. I was thinking this yesterday. Probably clutching. They’ve had a really really good run and they’re still 3 points behind. If we win a couple of games in the next few, they lose and the points gap looks big again it’ll be a huge mental hurdle for them to overcome. We need to do our bit and get some wins though. Our season will go a long way to being decided in the next 4-5 games. If we somehow pull out some results and Fulham drop some points in the tougher fixtures we may just pull clear. Conversely if they continue to do well and we struggle it’s goodnight Irene
  7. Down with Bruce. 13 games after tonight, change is needed, now
  8. 9 the way I’m feeling now. There’s just no leadership ready for a relegation scrap from the manager and I think our players will feel the weight of pressure. We’ve been rudderless for months and the only way we stay up is if Fulham stutter and Wilson comes back and scores a few. Bar a takeover we’ll go down next season anyway if Bruce stays ?‍♂️
  9. Is as expected we lose tomorrow and then lose at home to Wolves maybe it’ll finally be dawning on the fat controller that we are very much at risk of going down with the idiot he’s put in charge
  10. Anything form the next two is obviously a bonus. The 4 after that, Wolves home, West Brom away, Vile home and Brighton away are crucial to me particularly Brighton and West Brom.
  11. Put Willock in CM for Hendrick, add Fraser to the front 4, Hayden alongside Willock when we have more CB options (can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d even put Paul fucking Dummett there until the other CBs are fit). Think that could be a decent forward 6 until the summer then either buy Willock and upgrade on Hayden or sign two new CMs. Yep true about Fraser- ASM, Almiron and Fraser behind Wilson. Hayden sitting in front of normal back four and Willock next to him. Hendrick and Shelvey are piss poor but I have that awful feeling Bruce will persist with them. Shelvey’s always been consistently inconsistent and increasingly shite in recent times. His deliveries are atrocious

    Joe Willock

When was the last time we saw one of midfielders make a run and score a goal like that?
  13. If ASM, Wilson, Almiron and Willock play regularly together rest of the season, we’ll be ok. Some great running there for the counter attack
  14. It’s very tiresome watching him play isn’t it
  15. Huge game for Bruce, lose this and we’re in major trouble (aren’t we already) and he’ll kop a load fo flack from everywhere and rightly so. Pressure’s on, get it done. Rather than going for it I worry we’ll retreat into our shells
  16. He really has gone to shit and turned into a right cunt recently. One massive agenda with a Bruce, I can’t bare listening to him anymore
  17. This is the real worry, the change will come too late. ASM staying fit and Fraser somehow producing some form with both providing some ammunition is our only glimmer of hope but but I think the players have almost given up with complete lack of trust and respect for Bruce’s ability.
  18. The takeover finally gets the green light but Cabbage heed takes us down ?
  19. Spot on. I spoke to my brother in London yesterday, he usually pays more attention to what’s going on in spite of everything. He’s completely switched off now, zero interest like me. Ashley and now Bruce thrown into the mix has finally killed off most people’s interest for good. Bruce confirming after that match what we all knew that he’s here just to keep us in the league is the final nail in the coffin.
  20. I don’t have BT sport but I have no interest in watching this at all.
  21. It’s astonishing the level of support Bruce gets form the old boys network and media. Amazing when you consider how utterly outdated and bang average he’s been for years. I mean that Louise Taylor article written 9 YEARS ago about Sunderland perfectly summed things up then ffs.
  22. Aye, they spoke well. The absolute fucking AIDS spouted by Simon Jordan and that neanderthal Trevor Sinclair afterwards...‘ you’re tenth in the league’...‘I don’t understand why they wouldn’t want one of their own to do well’. Fuck. Off. Sinclair also came out with Bruce doesn’t have the players to play expansive football ???‍♂️ Bruce spent all summer talking up his signings and front foot football. Now he can’t do that or get them to defend ffs
