  1. If the manager is going to hang on and loiter for a bit longer then the shake up needs to begin with him. You have to hope to god he's going be self critical and analyse what he's doing wrong as opposed to the injuries stuff he just bleats on about in front of the cameras. The tactics, the formation, the set pieces, these are all colossal cock ups at the moment and until they're addressed we won't go anywhere. For me he doesn't look like he knows how to change it or is too stubborn to acknowledge his own pitfalls but it'll be interesting to hear on friday if any mildly challenging questions get through to him on the phone in.
  2. New striker New CB assuming Colo is off New midfielder (British or prem experience maybe) New winger (someone who can score some goals
  3. Get the impression that of any our "top" players he's the most likely to leave. He's obviously suffered from injury this season but he hasn't had enough of an impact in games as you'd like. He's a great player but is he as good as everyone makes out??? (20+m bracket?) Mind the tactics from the manager have been atrocious so you can factor that in.
  4. Probably been mentioned already on here............. Pardew is taking fans phone calls on total sport on friday at 7pm. Or maybe it was between 6-7, either way he's on this friday
  5. I heard his comments about the 4-0. Said it in a very strange nonchalant way, ridiculously clueless thing to say given the 3-0 and 6-0 games. Can't get over how stupid some of the things he says are
  6. I think there's still a chance we could go down............ The rules will be changed to make sure it happens..............anything is possible with Pardew in charge,
  7. too dry then too wet He just talks 100% nonsense but then its quite interesting to hear because its become so ludicrous
  8. That was my reaction when I heard it. This knacker reckons we should be finishing 6th-8th..................with the way he sets us up, fuck off
  9. Heard him talking to Mick Lowes.... Mentioned the quality of the pitch today.... His reasons for our poor position this season is being unable to field his first 11............not the shit tactics, negativity, crap set pieces, the list goes on.........dear oh dear
  10. Desperately need new direction, players look like they simply don't believe in him. (and is it any wonder)
  11. Not surprised if Mancini gets the bullet. With all the money they've spent they literally just pipped Man U last season and have offered virtually nothing as a threat this season. Yesterday was just the icing on the cake in terms of inspid performances from a load of over paid primadonas.
  12. Yes cannot work it out either as it lets the opposition come at us from the 2nd half starting and we are a different team from then on . The game at home to Reading really stands out. You could see McDermott and the Reading players thinking "they're bottling this, they're trying to defend a 1-0 instead of finishing us off". That gave them initiation and they played on our nervousness and took the game to us. Infuriatingly baffling why someone would send a team out in the second half like that tactically. Didn't he bring Shola on or move him to right wing too ffs?
  13. I do wonder what he says if anything to the players at half time. So many times we come out and completely go into our shells, retreating nervously. I can't remember a team under a manager than can change so quickly from half to half. They can look absolutely fine 1st half and then absolutely capitulate second half. Fulham last season was an extreme, Norwich and Reading this season were examples on a "normal" level of "Pard tactical regression".
  14. That weird interview Pardew gave about potentially being out on his ear......well he better hope they turn in a performance today. If he thought he'd had some stick from the fans and press recently, if we were to lose today, christ. Hoping the playing time last weekend plus a weeks training means HBA carries more of a threat today. We can certainly win this but it all depends on how he sends us out. Colo back is massive as proved last week. Christ can we not just win and put this god awful season to bed please.
  15. This game just took on greater magnitude after today's result then
  16. Fair play Wigan, I don't like them but to turn up and turn City over. hats off to them
  17. What a shambolic display from city, embarrassing
  18. Has shown good signs, if he's played in his correct position he could be a real force.
  19. Yep can't stand him. I used to like him but his recent antics with that tackle and he massively went down in my estimation. Absolutely ridiculous way to carry on in the face of such a shocking tackle by one of his players. Martinez can fuck right off too with his behaviour.
  20. We will atleast be able to play against QPR without that little bit of pressure a Wigan win would've brought tonight. Lets just go and finish the job on sunday ffs
  21. They'll take a pasting in the cup final too
  22. Definitely the highlight of his career cock ups this one. I hope he's staring long and hard at that table right now because he's on the verge of doing the unthinkable. Cunt
  23. Was always going to come down to the QPR match imo. Our survival hinges on getting a result there because if you assume Wigan get nothing at Arsenal then they would have to beat Villa on the last day
  24. The management and the players owe the fans a performance here ffs
