Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

I think he’ll go to a big hitter on the continent next summer, Barca, Real etc -

Definitely think he’s the type of player who we’d look to groom to replace next summer if Isak was to go but have them play together this season. Clearly Liverpool have decided to get involved and see if they can effect those plans. Who knows what will happen at this stage, Ekitike to Liverpool would be my bet. -
Don’t remember Guehi being poor in the air, granted he’s not that tall. I think he more than makes up for this in other areas of play (fast, good on the ball, reads play well, leader). I thought it was dead in the water and we’d go to the continent but great if we could pull it off. He was keen last summer wasn’t he?

We’re not paying 80m ffs 😂😂 considering all the positions we need to cover this summer -
His direct running and speed is the perfect foil for Isak and even Gordon. I think it’ll rejuvenate the entire front line.
-
I still think he’ll move on somewhere this summer and it’ll help fun a versatile forward thinking midfielder/attacker.
-
We’ll buy from the continent
-
We’re not spending 50+m on him nor is he worth that in his final year of contract
-
Which is why they’d probably whack the price right up for Wissa.

I think with Elanga away from home we can really scare some teams including the top teams. He's so quick and direct that he’ll take a lot of marking and effort for defences, that’ll surely open up space for the other players. Speed scares the shit out of teams and he’s mega fast with the ball.

Would be but he’d cost a bomb wouldn’t he? Couldn’t see Watkins coming here at all

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

Honestly wouldn’t mind him as a back up. His fitness record hasn’t been that bad in recent years he just hasn’t scored many goals but I’m pretty confident Howe could get the best out of him if that’s who we go for. Whateger Howe/the club decide on I’m happy with really. -
Also if it allows us to bring someone in who can do something different in midfield like against a low block then I’m all for it. We’ll probably eek out a few more million too.
-
Trafford, a new CB, back up striker of some sort and maybe also a midfield who can do something different against a low block (might involve sales).
-
Howe obviously sees how he fits his system and what he can bring to the team. He’ll also make him better too. I can see how he’ll be lethal away from home but I'm intrigued to see how he’ll improve our play at home too. It’s a chunk of money but in the current market and buying from another premier league club for a premier league proven player I don’t think it’s silly money.
-
Solid premier league ready signing, then get Trafford and the rest from the continent.

Why the fuck would they want him out? Hes just won the first trophy in 70 years, qualified for the CL again and we’ve barely brought a new first 11 player in in the last 3 windows. Hes successful without even spending fortunes.
