Awful miss -
Maybe the medical staff and coaches who work with him day to day have a better idea about his prospects? Also heās had one major injury/surgery, the other injuries while theyāve kept him out for medium periods arenāt serious. Players go on to play well after ACL reconstructions - Callum Wilson (had two), Van Dijk, our own Tino currently
-
Paul Mitchell also evidently rubbed everyone up the wrong way, it was never going to work out irrespective of whether he had any valid points about recruitment. Last summer was a poor window, other than that recruitment has been good.
-
Iād bring him back if we arenāt going to sign a LB and if it means we can rest Hall a bit.
-
A goal would do wonders for him, confidence is building though
-
Still rusty due to a long term injury, heāll be fine. I do think the club probably needs a new wing/forward for next season though, someone who can play striker and on the wing.
-
Weāre another injury or two away from a crisis at the back and given all the competitions weāre still in and sitting pretty in the league it would be negligent for the club not to bring in some kind of reinforcement at the back. The current fit defenders are likely to get injuries if theyāre playing game after game and some of the fit ones are already injury prone.
-
Obviously everyone has concerns about his ability to stay fit following an ACL injury, a subsequent knee arthroscopy and the recent back issue. But I think itās far too early to just simply write him off yet - he was sluggish last night but heās clearly lacking match sharpness and he did some solid stuff too. I think we need to see how the rest of the season progresses with him. If they are nearing a new deal with him they obviously think they still have a player on their hands.
-
Heās exceptional but I think we lose more when Hall is out as heās a better footballer and better going forward. Tino has undoubted class though particularly as he can cover both positions. If we get CL and make some serious signings he might stay but Iām not confident and I think heāll be away in the summer with Tonali.
-
With outgoings we and upgrades we could be looking at a good few starting positions in the summer with some squad upgrades - gk, RB, CB, midfield, RW
-
Feels like we might do something late on in the window depending on the injury situation but Iām not convinced we do anything significant. Summer will be significant I think
-
Yeah heās good but heās not that good ffs. Itās the English market thing. Itās a shame we wonāt get to see prime Miley and Anderson play together but the Anderson ship has sailed sadly. Whatās his true value, 60m?
-
Definitely - a starting England international who can play right or left back. Iād love him to stay but just canāt see it. Massive contract and tilt and title etc will swing it.
-
Tino off in the summer feels very likely unfortunately, too much interest. I think itāll probably be about getting as much as we can and re-investing. I would probably keep Hall over him if I had to choose between the two though.

Ā£70+ in East Stand is ridiculous even if it is a good view -
