  1. Me too, going with sisters Father in law. They’re form is dipping, let’s have a proper go at them.
  2. 2. We are confident, solid at the back and in midfield and the midfielders are now scoring goals. I actually think our attacking play will improve from here on in too and this is without considering Trippier or Wilson returning. Another 3 wins and 3 draws gets us to 37.
  3. Spot on. The great thing is our form and Howe have put to bed all the rubbish from “pundits” going on about Bruce and desperately hoping to be proved right so they can stick the knife in. They were wrong, they’ve been proved wrong and now have to shut the fvck up, Mersin in particular. What is it with that bloke anyway?
  4. Be great to see Wood properly mark his arrival on sat.
  5. It was but that result felt nailed on, classic Spurs after winning at City. The fact Leeds and Watford lost was big.
  6. You need the spirit for a scrap, resolute in defence and be very difficult to beat at home and showing form. Us and Burnley look like we have those qualities. There’s a few above us who you couldn’t argue the same.
  7. No but here’s hoping by the time we face that run we have Trippier and Wilson in the side
  8. Or if you want to put a massive positive slant on things we may still get Trippier and Wilson (less likely) back for a run of a few games and we still have the option of a 40m Brazilian midfielder.
  9. That’s well summed up, I don’t see many other teams down there with the spirit, resolute defence and crowd support/ground hostility for home games.
  10. Looking at the fixtures, the table could be really interesting come Saturday. We could potentially end up two points behind Villa if we won and and they were to lose. Mad when you consider weeks ago they were considered totally safe. If Norwich and Watford both lose away its looking very unlikely they’ll get out of it meaning a straight up shoot up out to avoid the last place.
  11. Hope he’s back for the final games if anything just to help calm everyone down if it’s still very close at the bottom.
  12. They are all over the place at the back and he’s doesn’t seem to be able to change it. Watford proved again tonight how shit they can be. Burnley like us show real fight and togetherness and there’s a few sides just above us who you can’t say the same.
  13. Yeah and Brentford, Everton and Leeds will be starting to shit it
  14. Spurs typically woeful after winning that classic at the weekend
  15. Burnley starting to show form and could go on a run
  16. If and it’s a big if we can get him back for a run of games at the end particularly given how tough some of them are, it would be a huge bonus. The nature of the injury and his record suggests he’s probably done for the season sadly. With Wilson and Trippier in for the final 5-6 games would be massive. Hoping for unexpected positive news
  17. I can see Burnley turning Spurs over in typical Spurs fashion post City. I can also see Palace beating Watford but that fixture is huge for Watford given their tough games coming up. Palace need to start finding some form quick though.
  18. I think we’ll sign two CBs in the summer, one premier league and one from abroad. That would give us 4 solid options with Schar and Burn
  19. Fair point but Willock is one of the few who can go on a run and with Wood still struggling for goals that could prove vital. The good thing is we’ve been getting into better positions to score generally.
  20. 4 We have enough organisation and resilience with the right characters for a scrap. Crucially St James park is a tough, tough place to go to now. My only worry is scoring enough goals but if ASM isn’t out too long and if Willock starts scoring a few. Plus I think Wood will eventually get going goals wise. The saving grave would be Wilson coming back earlier than expected though that’s clutching at straws
  21. Willock is crucial to our survival because he’s the only person other than ASM who looks like he’ll get a goal
  22. Injuries at some point sadly will probably force changes. I could easily see Bruno playing with Shelvey and either Joelinton or Willock slightly ahead as a 3. Or Bruno with Joelinton and Bruno together with Willock further forwards. Good players can adapt.
  23. Each to their own but I disagree. I’m sure we’ll see Bruno eventually no less due to the volume of fixtures coming up and I don’t doubt his quality. But the midfield 3 currently have earned their place and we’re on a great run. Shelvey is playing his best football for ages, I just don’t see Howe taking him out of the side, nor should he.
