Iād hazard a guess that moving forward we will have more wiggle room and thereāll be less critical situarions like this. More sponsorship deals will certainly ease things a bit but we are still hamstrung by PSR and APT rule changes.
-
This is my worry now.
-
How did they allow it to get to that critical point though? Someoneā or several people have cocked there surely?
-
Yeah Iāve just read it, bloody hell
-
Thank fuck this saga is finally over

Iām confused as to how our financial deficit was so big and how fine we were cutting it right down to the last few days of this cut off? I donāt agree with PSR but we also know the rules. They mustāve been aware of figures months and months ago. Iāve heard rumours we had two commercial deals lined up but theyāve been delayed (blocked?) which knackered us. Iād like to think something like this was more the issue. Someone with greater understanding of this can probably explain it to me. Either way I hope we can move on from this. We canāt be doing this each bloody year though.

Best name ever ššš

So is this our new number 2 Iām guessing with Ruddy 3rd choice?

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

It is very frustrating but itās surely better than a probable points deduction. These ridiculous rules have backed us into a corner. -
So assuming these two outgoing deals go through is that us in the clear?
-
If Minteh goes through its a fresh start Iām guessing. Really odd situation though.

He may turn out to be amazing, he may be bang average, we have to sell in our current state, no complaints (other than ridiculous PSR) -

This is it essentially. Weāve been backed into a corner due to PSR -

Blimey itās all go Surely weāre in the clear now? -
Football and the premier league mainly has become a farce thanks to PSR.
-
So unless we bring in a few million (nobody seems to know how much) weāre going to be docked some points. PSR is outdated and fucked and the sooner it starts effecting the premier league āproductā the better because the rules will soon be changed then.
-
This is the only way it happens. āIfā his head gets turned towards London and a massive salary and he wants to go then we will have no choice but to sell him. It doesnāt seem like thatās the case so far and Iād hazard a guess that he knows thereās possibly bigger teams that will come in for him in the future anyway if he was to go. He seems happy where he is right now tho.
-
Probably right especially as that have twins but itās not a permanent move to the NE. What 3 years maybe?
-
Be funny if/when the premier league start to shit it when players start leaving for the continent when clubs canāt afford wages and transfer fees (see Olise situation). Rules would soon change then.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

I agree on paper some of these players look like a āriskā but potential transfer targets are poured over and analysed endlessly in terms of whether theyāre the right fit (potential role, character, injuries etc). The club has done pretty well so far so I feel pretty comfortable with whoever theyāre aiming for currently. That doesnāt mean to say people canāt have an opinion on whether a potential signing is good or bad. -

Howe would work wonders with him
