  1. No doubt. A handful of highs, some fairly big lows. A lot of things that are hard to fully understand and the worst injury crisis in the history of top level football
  2. Outstanding goal from Hull, pure class
  3. Dan James, is he or isn’t he really shit?
  4. I wouldn’t take Meslier no. Not seen him this season at all but I thought he got very lucky in the PL at times, making him look better than he was
  5. Knee strain when crossing a ball does sound like the kind of injury you’d get from being in the red too often it has to be said
  6. Proper Radgie Ned though sadly

Think these could be in big trouble next season if they fuck their manager choice up, genuinely could be in a relegation battle all season as they don’t have strong foundations. Lose one or two of their best players and they’re fucked
  8. 2-0 win. Dyche’s gravel voice reduced to a tearful whisper post-match
  9. They’re acting like a bargain basement club. Trying to pull the sort of shit we would have tried under Ashley. Ominous for them
  10. Would retch until I couldn’t breathe if that happened
  11. There’s not a single person on the forum that thinks we’re doing well defensively. A lot of people understand this is due to major injuries. Some think that’s to do with Howe overworking players, others think it’s a balance of bad lack and overworking. Some recognise the overworking has been necessary. Should we play a different system of football? Fuck knas, if we play with a low block it changes our philosophy and everything about how we play. Howe has opted to play the same way, likely because of his philosophy and also because fundamentally changing how we play with a bunch of new players would cause major problems. These circular arguments are a waste of everyone’s time. Just enjoy Easter and if you cant switch off or enjoy that win then find a hobby
  12. It is, and running awful posters out of town is one of the key joys of a forum
  13. Quoting thatcher, new lows. Has to be a massive WUM
  14. Unsurprising stats, hammered both by playing on his line and massively diminished mobility. Perfect combo
  15. At least with Dummett he’s a player with an injury-free track record. Can’t see him having any issues if needed to be called upon
  16. It’s a problem of a back line that’s changed multiple times in a game, with players not used to playing alongside their counterparts
  17. I’d like to see Everton struggle on the field and be relegated for being a shambles of a footballing side for years. I don’t want to see them fail because of major mismanagement. I know it’s a fine line, all clubs take risks but it’s an awful situation for hundreds of thousands of fans
  18. 100%, the work you and the others do isn’t some gimmick. It has real emotion behind it and it carries the feelings of the wider fanbase (even if there are a fair few buffoons in that). Football can feel impersonal sometimes when you see players trotting out cliches in interviews and you rarely get to see stuff that cuts through but having a flag, a chant, a cheer that bears your name is really powerful. We all have shit days, imagine feeling like shit and then you look up and see something that shows how much you’re loved by complete strangers. Must lift you beyond belief
  19. No one’s praising the defending, it was absolutely shit. We’re saying that there are very understandable reasons why it was shit and not some sign that Howe has no idea what he’s doing
  20. Gives you an insight into the minds of fans in the ground who only make noise to complain and throw shit at the players
  21. Pretty sure I remember hearing this around half time
  22. He’s clearly not an awful player. He’s low on confidence and has been coached to play against his natural instincts. He’s a water carrier, needs to get out to save his career
