Bruno’s had an outstanding first half here, cut above anyone else in the middle of the pitch
-
Fuck me, this lad is world class
-
Howe loves him, don’t think there’s any chance of that
-
Ronaldo coming in clutch
-
Lights out, Celtic
-
Only watched the last twenty mins and the quality has been harrowing. GOAL!!!!!
-
Gasping for this to start, might watch a bit of Celtic to calm the excitement a touch

Brutal for the lad

In a way, I’m more excited about this game than any other UCL game yet. The other ones had some of that nervous anxiety beforehand whereas I’m just viewing this as “let’s just enjoy it”. Think some of the lads might be freed up a bit tonight and deliver some amazing performances. Expecting a really fantastic game by both sides

Very excited about this lad starting tonight, love the way he receives the ball, it’s the best thing about his game and is remarkable for his age
-
Aye, I really think he’s going to be as up for it as you can get. Just needs to keep his head because he’s going to be dragging us towards a point or points if he can produce his best
-
Interesting, did he overstep the line at some point? I never paid attention to him as his joke troll posts were excruciatingly shit

Aye, NDAs flying all owa the shop. Mehrdad was offering out the 2 year old in question as his Blaydon Races rendition was sung in the theme of Baby Shark. Teeth girl had to come over and calm the whole thing down

Sleeves ruhrrled up, Foreskin ruhrrled down. 18 rashers of bacurrn ingested. Howay the lads

Disharmony relates to the numerous squad falling outs that there have been, Varane, Sancho, Rashford not being happy, potential for Greenwood to return and those are just the ones we’ve heard about. You can come back at me in time if Mount becomes a top player for you but I expect him to be a flop and I struggle to believe Casemiro is going to be a quality player for you beyond this season. I do think Hojlund has a lot of potential and a great attitude and Wan Bissaka is class, I’ve always liked Garnacho too. Your midfield is a bit of a mess though. Fernandes gets an injury and you absolutely fall apart as a team in my opinion. As an outsider who has no desire to see Man U succeed it’s been enjoyable viewing but you seem quite bullish that things are going ok so it’ll be interesting to see where you are at the end of the season
-
Have to disagree, there’s the potential that grinding out results could lead to more fluency in your play as confidence grows but I think the big question at this point is whether Ten Hag is able to achieve more than attritional wins consistently. When you add in the squad disharmony and wasted money on people like Mount and Casemiro most likely from now on then it’s hard to get very excited about Man U’s remaining season

I don’t bet but if I did, I’d be putting money on Isak to score tonight

Get yourself booked in son, can vouch for Trolls Band Together

I’m massively torn on VAR. I hate the delays, I hate the fact that there’s an age spent and the decisions are either still wrong or are questionable. However, I do think on the whole it leads to more correct decisions overall. If I could choose, I’d just bin the whole thing as it’s not worth it and it just takes away from the sport. As it stands, I can handle it as long as they stop making blatant errors and speed up decision making

Those stats back up what we see every week in fairness. He’s a brilliant goalkeeper with next to zero ability with receiving the ball with his feet and passing. The trade offs are up for debate, we could get a keeper who could transform our play and make us more attacking but we’d surely lose a lot of the aerial quality. I’m happy with things as they are for now, see no rush to change it up

I have a major issue with contact meaning penalty. I know you’re getting into subjective areas but basically any contact with legs is now being considered as a pen. We know that players love to fool refs so we’re going to see even more trailing legs and collisions that were never going to lead to goals being awarded as pens. Feel like the refs should be braver when it comes to contact in the box. Was it dangerous? Did it stop a goal scoring opportunity? Was the contact enough to bring someone down? These are questions that should be asked. If the answer is yes to any of those it’s a pen

Mbappe in tears, Dembele sobbing, Ramos distraught. Newcastle 0-2 win

I think if we had not been laid low with injuries and not been in Europe then we’d get top 4 this season but I think it’ll be too much for us this year. This stretch of games until January is going to be a nightmare. I’m not going to be devastated if we don’t make it. This season is just about building the squad, trying to get to a final of a cup competition as a minimum and making as good a fist of it in the league and Europe. Anything below 7th in the league would be a serious disappointment however

Bringing kids to games is how you set up a lifelong love of the club and get new generations coming through. Not everyone needs to be singing their lungs out every minute and it’s the responsibility of the older fans to do that. However, there’s a fine line. I’d only take my daughters if I thought they would focus on it for the 90 mins otherwise it would ruin the game for me
