Man U’s style of play is long ball, it’s fucking awful

It’s amazing how shit Man U look and are game after game when you look at the table. I’d say they’ve looked second best in the vast majority of games I’ve watched of them this season

Ah, I remember the challenge. I thought it was borderline a foul. They were both fighting for the ball and Burn was just about level enough to get away with it

Villa, while they have a deeper squad to us, would struggle having to put out their best side every game pretty much rather than rotating as they have done in Europe this season. The money would be a good hit but they’d be out in the groups and probably won’t be back for a while. You make a good point about FFP, I hadn’t really thought about that. Spurs, you’ll know more about their financial position than me but any season out of CL for the top six is really damaging. Would be massively damaging mentally to the squad as well after how you started this season

Don’t remember it at all, certainly don’t remember anything like a red card challenge all game

My problem with Dubs isn’t so much his ability which is obviously an issue in itself but more about how terribly suited he is to how we play. Our back up GK is rooted to his line while we play high up the pitch and have no recovery pace. It’s just a disaster for him to be our no. 2 while we play like that

That miss. I’ve seen people miss from closer but to be that far off target from five yards is perhaps a first for me

It was particularly poor. Couldn’t have gone much worse but he’s not match fit and the whole defence was all over the place so I don’t want to be too harsh. He’s still a good squad player and hopefully he’ll show his worth in that role next season

Think the energy and sharpness today was the difference, hopefully he’s past his injury niggles and can just dominate until the end of the season and beyond

Vile, would do more damage to Spurs as a club compared with what Villa would gain

Thought he was absolutely fine, extremely important for us in terms of moving us up the pitch at speed
