Don’t normally go fishing in streams as I find they’re filled with sewage and pollution these days but I think I’ll have to for today

Good to see, honest, not just soundbites and cliches. Why did his own career falter so much? Not that it matters as a pundit, just interested as he sounds really switched on and there was a time when he looked like he was going to be an amazing striker
-
Keeper gan radge, was spoiling for a fight
-
Joelinton doesn’t get rotated, he just had the two match ban and has been making his way back into the team. Willock also seems to have nailed down a spot save for his injury. It’s hard to make a case for dropping anyone right now, save for Burn if Targett is match fit. I’d also always start Isak if he’s injury-free but that’s me

He’s absurdly versatile, must be a dream to manage

3pm kick off, not on TV, can’t handle it

For sure, I can completely detach the football and be a hypocrite almost all the time when it comes to watching the game and wanting us to succeed. It’s great being a hypocrite, I’ll give it that

Don’t really have an issue with awful people being rooted out of football, just know that it’ll never actually happen on the scale it needs to

Looked like a horse in dressage then brayed it into the net

Kelly smashes it just like Daly. Whoever’s coaching pens for the women should come on board for the men too
-
ASM is an elite limper, best in the league?
-
Fantastic pen from Daly

I hear Boehly’s looking at Greg Norman on an 8-year contract to take the Chelsea job
-
Good, I want us to succeed as a club but I also want corruption and awful people brought to justice

Goalkeeping disaster in the women’s finalissima

Honestly, what is there to say. He’s absolutely incredible. Can’t even criticise anything he does really. There was some justified chatter about Isak not getting game time while Wilson looked off the pace and that was basically it

Knows the petty cash system and lone worker policy

Trippier seems revitalised, his defending especially has been outstanding these last couple of games. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a defensive unit work so well for us as Trippier, Schar and Botman. Burn deserves to be mentioned too as he’s been part of our defence all season and has been fantastic but I don’t think he’s a long-term LB option, as in, I don’t even think he’ll be there next season as a first choice for the majority of the league season. Whereas I expect Trippier, Schar and Botman to be first choices for at least one-two more seasons with Botman hopefully here for years

£80m?

They seem like best buds these two Both bright, likeable lads that seem more like introverts
-
Can only imagine his fitness has been way off Howe’s expected levels and he’s building him up. All the talk is that he’s a gifted player but either his Jody or his head isn’t there and you’d hope it’s just his body
-
They never deserve any success while operating like this. If they do, it’s essentially rewarding failure. They’re an absolute shambles and the best thing for them and the rest of the league is if they actually fall away and have to rebuild with an actual stable structure

Sick of that bloody do-gooder receiving support for his country and its citizens being levelled to the ground for having the temerity to try and live in peace
