  1. Hoofball party here between Palace and West Ham
  2. I thought he was shite too, thought I must have missed some stuff but on several occasions in the game I shouted at him that he was absolutely shit
  3. His balance and strength is amazing for his age, knows exactly how to use his body to position himself in a way where he cant lose the ball
  4. Hard to feel sorry for him when he’s such a negative character on the pitch. I know you love the lad and with good reason in terms of his footballing ability but he just whinges on nonstop, people like that don’t contribute to a positive mindset. You can act in a way where you galvanise a team when you have issues with the officials but when you throw your hands up at any decision and cry about it, it’ll just make your whole team feel like victims rather than just getting on with it
  5. The slip was great, just lay there for a further ten seconds, accepting his fate
  6. In terms of CM he’s ahead of Willock and Anderson already. Willock is a very different player and Anderson too really. Anderson is best suited to a wing or more advanced position. Willock’s played his best stuff for us on the left and when running at stretched defences. Miley is already better at receiving the ball and finding space and a creative pass than Longstaff I’d say. Longstaff has fantastic positional awareness and he’s a brilliant defensive asset. Hard to really compare but I’d say Miley is a more complete player than all of them even now. Not saying he’s better but his game clearly has more to it
  7. “Here man, me Amex isn’t letting us in. What’s gannin on?”
  8. Forest really fucked up yesterday. Sheff Utd are down, Luton will go down but if Burnley get a couple of decent results then Forest will be in trouble. I imagine Everton will end up completely fine. So really, it’s between Forest and Burnley potentially for that last spot. Bournemouth will be fine
  9. “You’ve got one second to get up or I’m getting out my Swiss Army knife”
  10. Aye, Hall needs to come in and do some decent minutes. Ritchie I think is realistically just an option off the bench, could do 20-30 mins. Our inability to change up our most exhausted players - Isak and Gordon is a major issue in terms of potential injuries
  11. Play like we did against Man U when we face AC Milan and we’ll win
  12. He should definitely have a pop. There was one where he cut across the penalty area and I was sure he was going to take a shot but he then let it run a little too far. I agree with AngusHyd that he could actually play more advanced and be a Gareth Bale. He doesn’t need to play as a LW or RW though, he could play the Hakimi role and be devastating from defence which he kind of already is

    Joelinton

Thought his link up play, short passing and vision was the best we’ve seen of him yesterday
  14. Massive confident player and he has absolutely none right now. Someone mentioned the other day that perhaps he’s having a difficult time with his mental health and I wouldn’t be surprised as he looks very downbeat and his game has fallen apart
  15. Ah ok, I couldn’t see from my angle but I thought he’d dragged it wide and it had hit someone
  16. I just don’t get the pleasure angle of saying “haha, you were wrong to people” I liked Gordon and defended him a lot after we signed him and I was fairly positive about the signing when it first broke but I couldn’t care less what people used to think about him. If people were to call him shit now if he went on a run of bad games then I’d call them out on it but after the fact I really can’t be arsed and don’t find any enjoyment in it
  17. What the fuck are Man U by the way? I know they’re a counterattacking side but what are they really? Any side can set up to break quickly after depending with a low block and it’s not a successful system unless you have amazing pace and fantastic strikers. Why is Ten Hag setting them up like this? They’re awful in possession of the ball and awful at winning it back. They looked like a beaten side mentally for large parts of the game
  18. Yeah, he had a great game. I need to see that chance back from the first half that he dragged wide from eight yards but I couldn’t care less, he’s brilliant. If he hadn’t been fucked he’d have scored with that run he went on that started 1v1
  19. Thought he had a fantastic game tonight, his trapping of a ball and first touch is exceptional. I know it’s been said a lot but it can’t be praised enough, it is a huge reason for why he manages to start so many attacks for us
