  1. Has to be said, his attitude has looked really spot on with these sub appearances. Really want him to come on and either get a goal or do a mazy run and get an assist. Would be amazing for his confidence and for us. Think we’ll see it soon
  2. They were a very difficult team to breakdown and we also faced them when they were at peak levels of confidence. I do think that Trippier is looking burnt out but what do we do, we don’t have a replacement who’s anywhere near his level. I think other than that the only other selection decision going forward is when to bring Isak in for a start
  3. His intelligence makes him such an exciting player, he’s constantly working out where the space is, how to lose his man etc and when he has the ball at his feet he’s magic. I’ve said it before but he is going to score some amazing goals for us
  4. Hojbjerg landed on the Arsenal player’s bum at a snail’s pace then lay on the ground like he’d taken shrapnel to his legs
  5. Spurs lose here and hopefully the papers start firing up the Kane-wants-out rumours
  6. Holy shit, that would have been some volley. Love how awful Spurs are to watch, must destroy their fans

    Jacob Murphy

Class, at least he’s extremely likeable
  8. Lloris is such laughs man, going to watch a YouTube reel of his blunders later. Such a great comedy character for the league
  9. Awful news, at least it’s happened during the window and we can do something about it but he’s our best player and irreplaceable really
  10. He’s going to be really important to us in the second half of the season but he’s still a major enigma. We know that our general cohesion and defence will suffer with him in the side. However, he’s the most likely to make something out of nothing. The problem is, if he just gets twenty mins he won’t impact games enough. Best leave it to Eddie to figure out how to get the most out of him
  11. He was definitely much better at releasing the ball, think his general passing is improving so it’s mainly about his shooting now
  12. Yeah, Murphy had a nice moment. Was it just before the goal? Can’t remember but he took the ball down over his shoulder on our right hand side after it had been skied and released it quickly. The kind of move I wouldn’t normally expect him to pull off
  13. Wonder if he’s just a bit burnt out? He never gets subbed off really. He played three matches at the WC? Wish we had a good option to rest him for at least fifteen mins per match

    Joe Willock

That run down the left where he cut it back was fantastic, showed great pace and strength

    Joelinton

Aye, we badly needed him today. With Bruno out he becomes our most important midfielder across defence but also linking to attack as well. He’s gaining confidence all the time with running with the ball
  16. To be honest, I reckon he’d cry anytime he has to come off because of an injury, he’s a sensitive lad. Doesn’t mean a huge amount in terms of guessing the lay off time
  17. The relief man, going to spend the next few hours coming down from the stress of that
  18. Those are among my favourite types of matches to win. Watching them, it’s fairly torturous but the satisfaction after is amazing
  19. Even accounting for the fact that this lad is an absolutely outstanding footballer with some pretty unique qualities, he’s so likeable aside from that. Just seems like such a gentle soul
  20. Fucking get in!!!!!!!! Yessssss also, how thick is ASM man, we’re mounting an attack, we don’t get the free kick and he just lies there for twenty seconds slowing us down. So thick
  21. My body will be at a major cum deficit if we win this match
