  1. Would love to hear him commentate on Messi after he skins four players and puts it on a plate for a teammate to sky over. “Messi just needs to be more selfish there, he should be getting that yard of space and taking a shot on, guiding it along the ground, taking a touch.” Aye righto mate. The total lack of awareness was baffling, seemed to have no conception that what he was saying offered no insight as anyone can wait until something has already happened then critique it

    Nick Pope

I feel like I massively take Pope for granted because of how ridiculously reliable he is. His judgement of when to come off his line and snuff out attacks by sweeping is amazing

    Joelinton

Ah, I thought I was in the Bruno thread with my post above. I also think Joelinton is bordering on unsellable. I say it all the time, other teams must absolutely despise seeing his name on the team sheet. He always gives everything, never stops running, cuts out the most attacks out of our whole squad and you can now see the confidence flowing for him going forward. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him score a fair few more in the second half of the season. Also, he’s such a gentle giant off the pitch, just a wonderful man

Hope they get promoted, would be class being a top four side with them in the league

    Joelinton

There are certain players that you can afford to sell because they’re mainly individually brilliant. With Bruno, we’ve got someone who’s both individually brilliant but also allows the whole team to succeed. The only situation where it would ever make sense to sell is if Bruno was desperate to leave and we couldn’t stop him. We need to do everything possible to keep him as we’re winning trophies with him in the team
  6. Can’t see anything other than a win, the lads will be on a high. As long as they don’t get complacent, which I know they won’t, it’ll come down to putting our chances away. Looking forward to Botman bullying Mitro. Isak to score
  7. We dominated that match in the way we’ve been dominated by top four sides under Ashley, where we used to go into a match expecting little and still coming out disappointed. Spending the match starved of the ball, providing no threat, getting one or two chances but having to take them as you wouldn’t get any others. We’re consistently bullying teams and it’s amazing

    Joelinton

Getting his name on a shirt, just love the joy he plays with. Seeing players like Almiron, Big Joe and Bruno play with huge smiles on their faces is so infectious
  9. You in Traitors mode, picking up on little clues and observations still?

    Jacob Murphy

He actually managed to shrug off a challenge tonight when I thought he’d get brushed off. I had to do a do a double take to make sure it was him
  11. Hope you sparked him out. Honestly, what are these people doing going to a football match to hate on our most exciting players?
  12. I know it’s been mentioned before but apart from Ben Arfa, who kills a ball dead as well as this lad. His touch to kill the pace on the ball is amazing
  13. It’s part of his charm that he’s got slightly unhinged yet positively unhinged element to his character. Makes him more endearing

    Joelinton

If I was in an opposing team I’d least want to play against this lad, followed by Bruno. Must suck the life out of you seeing this man tearing towards you and bulldozing the ball away from you before you realise what’s happened

    Joe Willock

His running terrorised Leicester, ensured that they were camped in their own half for so much of the match. I don’t know how he’s so good as he doesn’t use much trickery to beat a man, just raw pace. His speed at running with the ball is some of the best we’ve ever had at the club, makes up ten yards in a couple of seconds and he’s so good at driving into the middle with his runs
  16. Looked sharper with the ball at his feet tonight, really excited to see him start soon
  17. He had a couple of chances in the second half that he actually took better and at least got them on target. Don’t know what to say, he’s got some major work he needs to do to improve his finishing

    Dan Burn

Delighted for him, can’t have been many sweeter moments in his whole career
  19. His attitude is everything. Him and Trippier, their attitude wins us matches but the quality this guy has is obscene
  20. He’s a brilliant player, think we can forget about purple patches or whatever. He’s making the right decisions, his weight of pass is perfect, he’s beating his man almost every time and he’s scored a bunch of worldies. At what point do we accept he’s just a very good player with a much higher baseline than ever before
  21. Outstanding performance, everyone was up for it. We missed a lot of chances but didn’t let it deflate us. Superb job from Eddie. Willock, Bruno, Jow, Almiron, Botman, Burn. All brilliant
  22. We’ve been absolutely relentless, Leicester must be absolutely gassed
  23. Joelinton back in the middle and Willock on the left is perfect. Based on form and all round game I’d play Willock there over ASM every game, with ASM to come on as a sub
  24. Bruno rinsing the ref and then just blanking him
