  1. If Grealish doesn't turn things around quickly his transfer to Man City will be regarded as one of the biggest PL flops of all time considering his fee. That's his legacy right now so he needs to be focusing on himself
  2. That’s exactly it like, had to deal with appalling match after appalling match, knowing our future as a club was likely to involve a parade through the lower leagues all while that tub of drippings patted himself on the back whenever we lucked out. Cue some nonsense like this: “Here, listen, it’s not all down to me. I can only create the plan, fire them up and get them hungry, they have to do the rest but maybe if everyone just put a bit more faith in someone who’s spent a life in football then maybe we’d get somewhere. I don’t know, it’s not for me to say”
  3. Haven't watched a lot of Mount but whenever I've seen him I haven't seen him in the CM role, he always plays wide for England and when I've seen him for Chelsea he's been in a more advanced role too. Saying that, I've not watched a ton of him

Europe next season is 100% what I want, not what I necessarily expect but I think we should be at least in the running for it next season till the end

Will be hard to adjust to some of the dickheads in our support really upping the ante
  6. How many years are we away from Wolves campaigning to join Primeira Liga?
  7. Class, now that we have Isak and are focusing on bringing younger talent through it’s good that we’ve got Wilson for a few more years. There’s no way he will stay fit consistently but he’s shown that even if he plays half a season he’s still massive for us
  8. He’s got such a massive chip on his shoulder like, an angry man who will only get angrier
  9. Didn’t watch the match today, but how did the butcher get on @Froggy?
  10. Great ball in there for Watford but that Stoke defending is as bad as it comes
  11. They move the ball nicely enough and have a really quality set of players technically. However, they seem really poorly coached. They are so slow in their build up play and often end up taking shots from distance, it seems like their movement is the major issue and breaking forward at pace rather than trying to let everyone get a touch
  12. Just a very professional 2-0 please with no injuries
  13. Bruno, Wilson, Pope, Botman in that order
  14. I love Rob Lee and I think he’ll end up with more goals than Bruno even if Bruno stays here for many years but I don’t think we’ve ever had a midfielder who controls a game like Bruno. His general passing, vision, and ability to hold onto the ball under major pressure then switch to picking out through balls and perfectly weighted chips, along with his attitude are just as good as it gets in centre midfield
  15. His body position on that strike is what makes the goal even more unbelievable, all his weight was in the wrong place as he transferred back onto his left side but he somehow managed to generate that power and accuracy despite still being in the process of switching his weight
  16. I’m 35 and the only two players that I think were of the same level consistently during my time following the club were Shearer and Beardsley. There are basically no weaknesses to Bruno’s game, he’s a complete player and the only thing he needs to do is keep this level up. If he stays at this level and he’s here in three years I would bet on us to win a cup or finish in the top four by the end of 2025/26
  17. Lovely connection on that, still not exactly convinced by him but he can clearly strike a ball
  18. Yeah, never watch Wolves. Is such a weird sight, that and his absurd physique
  19. Traore basted himself in oil like a bodybuilder in advance of coming on the pitch?

    Joe Willock

I didn’t see the game today so can’t comment on this one specifically. I’m a fan of his and I recognise he’s largely struggled to impose himself on games this season, but a poor Jenas? They’re such different players
  21. Can’t wait to hear “I just wanted to have a fair crack at the whip, but hey, that’s management these days.”
  22. Not been impressed by Scamacca from what I’ve seen. What type of striker is he, a target man who can hold it up?
  23. Luton are very well organised and Hull are awful, not vintage viewing this
  24. Fuck off Neymar, you little shithead https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/sep/30/brazil-neymar-bolsonaro-support-election
  25. Didn’t this schmuck link us with someone over the summer, can’t remember whether anything came of it or not but I’m sure I recall his name
