Bad attempt at typing in Geordie there.

Deserved point and goal for Richarlison. Who knows if it will be a turning point. But seemed like they had a bit of fight about them today and the away end responded positively for the most part.
-
It sort of reminds me of Ballard on the rat in the derby. I think it was McCoist going on about great defending and ‘just done enough there’. Ignoring the blatant foul and red card
-
Surely that is a foul and a red? Richarlison too honest. Just because it isn’t his shirt. He’s clearly pulling him back.
-
Rob Elliot would have saved that. And I mean if he was playing in goal for Spurs today. Horrendous keeping.

Big Joe can help with being the target for headers. He already does it really well when he is a bit of a midfield target man, if that is even a thing We look for him to play out of trouble and over a press with more sort of mid-range passes. He is decent in the air and back to goal when in the middle. I think we will look for him to be the target from longer balls now too. Off the ball, he is often more advanced and up with Gordon when pressing, anyway. So I don’t think being a bit further forward now and then as a direct option will be a problem. Been mentioned a few times. But we look much more fluid in attack since Gordon played centrally. Certainly seems to be more licence to roam for the forwards and midfielders.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed
Lush Vlad replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
I agree. But the supposed option that is part of the loan deal is rumoured to be double that and he is supposed to be on massive wages. I can’t see us paying £20m and paying £100k a week plus for someone who probably wouldn’t be our number one next season. -
Away end sounded good last night.

love you too

I commented on someone else who brought it up But carry on. Go off all you want you absolute bore.
-
Same with you and Barnes then. I wasn’t being negative about this performance, anyway. He was probably our best player after Thiaw. More the comment about him sulking on the left. Not that I particularly agree with any perceived sulking being to do with him playing on the left, anyway. He was great there against Chelsea at home and has been in the CL plenty of times this season. I just don’t think there would be any supposed head dropping wherever he played for England. I do think he has been a lot better up top than on the left since switching, mind.
-
I hate to turn it into a negative about him. But I bet he puts in full effort when be plays on the left for England in the summer.
-
“If you’re fit enough to be on the bench. You’re fit enough to start.” It’s the most Sunday league comment ever Not surprised that general view is being peddled by the likes of Rooney, Shearer and fossils in the media. EDIT - I don’t think he was in good enough shape to play at all. Looked terrible when he came on and could barely sprint.

Sideways and backwards everywhere we go. Everywhere we gooooooo.
-
You want to get your mince pies tested son. Those geps are fucking useless. What penalty FFS?! Palmer treads on Woltemade and then dives. Can we have a penalty for Reece James rugby tackling Thiaw, as well? As for the rest of that waffle:
-
I really wish he didn’t go on strike and we didn’t pursue him all summer. He’s been the worst signing by far. I get that he was unlucky with the knee injury. But from how buzzing he seemed to be here and some early promise. He has gradually been getting worse. Now he has been challenged by Howe publicly and can’t get minutes. When you would think he would be a great option to start here and there. Or give us 20-30 minutes off the bench and some fresh legs. How is a £55m ‘prem proven’ forward. Our 4th choice striker FFS?! Was really excited to see how he did here and thought he’d be a great fit. Oh how wrong I was.
-
I think he has been good to brilliant since Bruno went down. Been one of our better players for a good few games now.
-
I was and I wasn’t. One of his best showings for us was when he played in a 2 against Bournemouth in the cup. He was always showing for the ball and demanding it, Bruno style. That said. I always thought he was more of an attacking mid or more suited to playing off the left. I just think he struggled early on as an 8 in Howe’s system. But he has picked it up now and looks comfortable right across the 3. Was still getting caught out by being too square of flat. With runners always getting in behind. But that’s more of a tactical issue. As it happens most weeks.
-
I thought he was basically doing doggies all night and did well defensively, playing a game that he is totally unsuited too. Made loads of good runs. Only for Hall to often play an uncharacteristically bad pass to him. He was a decent release valve down the left. Something he isn’t usually that good at IMO and is what we miss when Gordon doesn’t play on the left. I thought he was solid enough? Not sure anyone had a bad game?
-
Doesn’t work like that for me. Gordon scores a tap in (great supporting run TBF). I mean. I feel like Thiaw saved about 3 goals. But how does that show up on the stats?!
-
He is a snide cunt. Always yapping at the ref and the opposition. Loves a dive and a naughty challenge. Decent player, which makes him even more unlikeable. The hair doesn’t help, no
-
See my other post. How often are refs giving those on field? Very rarely.
-
I’d need to see it again to see what his view was like. But I feel like those ones at corners happen all the time now and rarely see the ref giving them. I thought it should have been given. If more fouls were given both ways. Then corners wouldn’t he such a disgrace every game. You can literally just initiate contact in nothing areas and then fall over and win a foul. But a shirt pull and a bit of a Rugby tackle when not looking at the ball in the box and it’s ok
