Slobberdog Milosevic is right footed. So you were correct the first time.
-
He (a DM similar in ability) wouldn’t start most games in the current set up. But I do understand fans wanting a defensive mid as an option. As we don’t really have anyone that is recognised in that role and I think at times we lack someone for the FM Anchor/Tiote role. All a bit of a moot point. As Howe has gone down the route of getting another box to box type midfielder in for big money. Plus, we’re not going to spend whatever is left of our budget on a bit part, specialist type player like him or someone similar.

Nah. That’s not on. Those cunts are never right about anything. The date, maybe.

Yeah, I keep thinking I’d like to see him at least have a go on the right. He is quite two footed in comparison to a lot of our players. But I suppose you would be taking away his main weapon. That quick shift inside and the pass and move. Barnes has been really bad in his last two sub apps and all. So can’t see it happening for a while. Does seem a bit mad if we are going into the season with Almiron and Murphy as our right wingers.

This is how I see it. I actually thought we needed to make changes. As we had lost our way a bit. I guess Gordon and Tonali are still fully getting up to speed in this team. As I think that is two games in a row they have come off after an hour or so. More of a concern is that it’s two games in a row where Barnes and Wilson have come on and looked atrocious. I don’t think you can legislate for how bad the subs were compared to who they replaced. As has been said by many. They will have all the data to hand and I get why the subs were made. It doesn’t bother me like it does others. Pretty much my only regular, albeit minor gripe, with Howe. Is that when the onus is on us to break a team down in the final third. We ofren look toothless and run out of ideas. It was on full show again yesterday. Work nice wide openings, but don’t get men in the box for the cross or flat out decide against it. Take on long shots that are never on and are usually tame or nowhere near the goal. Dwell on the ball and want extra touches when the shot/pass is on. Force the ball into the box with through balls or dinks that are really low percentage. It is still a planet sized, lemon flavoured pill to swallow. We should have done better. But the woodwork, Alison and some pathetic finishing have kept them in it. Then undone by some freakish finishing from Nuñez. I think that makes it even harder to take as whilst you felt like we might fuck it up. It was still well out of the blue when it happened. Still not quite there in trying to eat at the top table. It was like the belief wasn’t quite there yesterday from the manager and the players, somehow.

Just so we are clear. I was on about Liam Bryan's tweet. Not your post

So fans were too reactionary after a defeat. But after one win against an absolute bag of shite. This opinion isn’t reactionary?

That’s not a yellow. Ayew got booked when it wasn’t a yellow. Then a blatant yellow on Saka wasn’t given, when it would have been his second. Glad to see the level of officiating is as awful as ever.

The more I listen to that cabal of cunts. The more I wish they didn’t exist. Self-serving tossers who are mostly clueless about the game. Their analysis and views are bi-polar week to week and all. The decent ones that I enjoyed listening to all seem to have jumped ship.

Villa playing Everton off the park in the wrong’un goalkeeper derby. Could/should be 3-4 up.
-
I might be wrong. But wasn’t it NUST/the TF lot that were moaning about the away tickets and it not being ‘fair’?
-
Not sure what the new brief is regarding yellows. But last night seemed to be a yellow for anything we did. But fuck all the other way a couple of ours felt soft as fuck.
-
It was piss poor from Wilson. But from memory, Almiron made the exact same run as Anderson (?) when he had the chance to go the other side. So it was a shitshow all round. We have too many blind alley type players in our advanced positions a lot of the time. Against the best team in the world, when you only get about 5-6 decent openings per game. It is really amplified.
-
I thought he was pretty decent last night? Fucked up a few through balls that he should have done better with and that shot was atrocious Not that it is saying much. But I thought he was comfortably our best player going forward.
-
Poor old game for the neutral. But pretty happy with how we played. They only really had two decent chances, the two that Haaland dragged wide. The goal was hardly a sitter. Just quality from Foden and Alvarez. Foden was pretty much the main difference between the teams on the night. Shame we were so toothless the other way and seemed to panic or rush when it came to making a decision in the final third. It’s hard to be mad at someone that grafts so hard. But Almiron was infuriatingly bad when he got time and space. Took the wrong option basically every time. Schar, Botman and Trippier were all top drawer. Were often 1 v 1 against world class players and regularly won their battle. The midfield did well on the whole. Not that we had much possession until late on. Although Joelinton was noticeably bad on the ball. Bruno was everywhere and doesn’t look out of place in games like these. The subs didn’t do enough, for me. Thought they would have given us a bit more go. Wilson was a nuisance. But should be doing a lot better when Rodri passed him the ball. Longstaff looked miles off the pace and couldn’t control the ball. Getting closer. A tight 1-0 loss away to these almost feels like a positive result.

That is actual corruption

That’s twice now that Renaissance painting looking motherfucker could have bagged. Wolves really are crap in front of goal.
-
They look utter shit, mind. Thought they rode their luck massively post cup final last season. But always thought they’d kick on under Ten Hag with more players and time to adapt to his system. I know it is still early days. But they look worse than last year based on this very small sample size.
-
Should be 3-4 up. So expect them to lose to an 87th minute penalty.
-
I thought he was fairly poor when watching the game, half-cut on Saturday. Since seen the extended highlights and the Bruno reel on Twitter. I think he looked quality. Some loose stuff with the ball and caught in possession a few times. But he has set the bar so high. That a 7 from him seems like a bad or below par performance.
-
What paper does he write for again?..... He does always seem to look for a negative angle and seems to revel in stirring the pot. Generates clicks from needlessly gloomy pieces.
-
He seems a jolly chap and all. Massive beaming grin all the while. Miggy and him down the wings. Smiling assassins.
-
Really pleased with this signing. Was someone I was hoping we went after when Leicester were relegated. I think he’ll be a huge player for us and will give balance to our attack.
-
Looks like he's dead and it's one of those legends up in heaven looking down "You'll do for me" memes.

Agree with this, bar the very last bit. I find it odd that people are so down on Barnes. I’m disappointed that ASM is leaving and for less than I think he’s worth. Whilst also excited by the prospect of signing Barnes.
