Can't believe they only had 5 shots on target?! They absolutely battered us for the first 60-70 minutes and it seemed like a lot more.. I think he made 2-3 great saves and some fairly routine ones. But on the whole, his punching and decision making was good. I also agree with Miercoles. That strange, looping cross that hung in the air for ages, could have been embarrassing for him. But he dealt with it well. Don't like him or rate him. But he was class on Saturday.

Is he a sulky, moody twat? Or does his style of play just mean he's wildly inconsistent? Either way. He's such a frustrating player. As on his day, he's probably our best player. But his good performances are always wedged in between shite games.

Him and Tiote as a midfield 2 is just awful. Even worse than Colback and one of those two, if that's possible. Tiote is brain dead and just makes rash challenges all the while. Anita goes AWOL and isn't anywhere near physical enough to play in the current system. They were played off the park by Dan Gosling and some bloke I've never heard of with gay hair. I read the other day we're targeting a winger and a centre back? I hope that means we're looking to play Wijnaldum as a centre mid again. Because we desperately need someone in there who can actually pass a football forwards and maybe effect the game in the opposition's half.

I would maybe understand this attitude, if in recent times. We had been playing entertaining football, creating loads of chances and winning games. But it has been turgid for the best part of a decade FFS. He has been one of the shining lights and provided some of the more exciting moments. The last two years have been dull as fuck. I'm not sure people actually watch football to be entertained? Seems like a lot of fans would rather have a team full of Colbacks and Cattermoles. Fully agree. Said similar to a mate the other day that was trying to advocate bringing him back. Let him have the full season at Coventry and he'll hopefully keep scoring and help get them promoted. Then see what our options are next season. Maybe look to loan him to another Championship club, or back to Coventry, assuming they go up. He could be playing for us in the Championship, mind
