I thimk hes asking around 100m too much personally for someone to buy us and take us over its going to be a 500 to 600m plus investment initially 300m asking price 150m player investment at least Stadium refurbishment training facility massive upgrade investment in youth academy and other avenues of the club Hence why I believe no one has touched it yet Spread that £150m player investment over four or five years like everyone else does and it's suddenly a £30m - £38m outlay......

Somebody said Sunday Sun say Sensi (Sassuolo) signing. Seems slightly sub-believable. S

Have any of the deals for other clubs had this sort of clause? I know Fat Mike is a cunt but it seems a little odd, especially this early in the season.
-
Not really. He got the whole shebang for 90m which is less than even the stock on hand is worth. He can't lose in this deal.
-
When he trapped it dead? Nah, HBA trapped it, Zidane trapped it, controlled it and went past a man in one touch.

Fair play to them, looks good Thought Eddie Rutherford was really good in Red Dwarf too.

End of? Simple as? He's just telling it like it is.

They don't want to make Jamaal sad.

Might want to get that seen too. Unless you're a zombie in which case you're probably grand.

Contrary to popular belief, Kevin Whately is a Villa fan, not a Newcastle fan. Fuck off is he

Ever watched the Brazilian leagues? It's dull as fuck.

Same here. Proper z list wannabe looking bunch though.

At what point does the answer to the question 'Do you want to be Leeds or Portsmouth?' become 'Yes'? Fucking used as harbingers of doom for the last decade and outspending us now

Lovely ball from Diame to Yedlin for the first goal too.

they also know there's a very high chance they'll be playing us next season in the championship, and they already have somebody on board who could potentially show an interest and invest once they're in the championship. As shit as they are, and as much as I've laughed and enjoyed their double relegation, the depressing reality is that we are still shit and nowhere near getting rid of our cunt owner and going nowhere fast. Get yourself down to the bookies then and make yourself a killing because you'll get a very good price for a Newcastle relegation/Mackem promotion as they don't think it's anywhere near as likely as you do. Wonder what price I'd get on them beating us at SJP next season. I did say potentially. I obviously don't know he'd invest for definite....but it's not that much of a long shot. I would say it is or he would be doing it already - need to ask yourself the question why is he looking at third division clubs to invest in and then doing fuck all to make sure they progress to the next level. Why would he? He's got a lot more going on apart from Sunderland. He takes a minor financial interest, if they get promoted he's at least doubled the little money he put in and gets first crack at investing in a potentially PL club with a 48k seater stadium and established fanbase. If they don't get promoted he's lost very little.

So if Ashley remains, even with a personality/business-model transplant (I know...), it can never be our version of NUFC? It can, but a leopard never changes it's spots. I thought during the first 4-5 months of the Championship season were great; Rafa got what he wanted in the summer and Ashley fucked off into the background and we never heard a peep from him. But then he decided to get involved again in that January window and he's been imposing misery ever since. Whenever he's involved he fucks it up and this summer just gone it felt genuinely deliberate. I don't see why that'd change. Was Barnes not appointed between those two windows?

They do know they're in League One, right?

I think the Ki sub was, er, key. He came on and just kept things ticking over in midfield with short passes, keeping possession, moving it about whereas Shelvey was trying to hit killer passes too much. With Ki in there we could retain possession and build our attacks a bit slower.

I think Asprilla's actual shinpad might have been capable of more intelligent reasoning.

Win win then. Bring it on

It's not a big deal, some people got it the wrong way round and applauded instead of silence. There was no disrespect, it wasn't a malevolent act, just a mistake, forget about it.
