Was always one of my first buys on CM93. Him and Nick Summerbee were absolutely mint.

Said it during the match too, he's looking much more refined and mature in his performances. There's less of the whirlwind chaos and more direction and purpose in his efforts. If he keeps up developing like this he's going to be a useful player for us.

It just looks a bit weird leaving your hand on the shoulder of one of the most influential men in the world for so long

It's the football for me. Tony Pulis had Stoke winning games by kicking it up the field and winning the second balls but that won't push you into the top bracket of clubs. Brighton took it down calmly and played it around on the floor and could quite easily have levelled it if not for bad luck. They're 7th we're 13th. Kick and rush might keep you in the division but if we want to be challenging for those CL spots every year then we need to play football. It just really frustrates me because I think we have the players capable of playing decent football but we seem to focus on running faster and jumping higher rather than playing through and around teams. I think we can do better is all I'm saying and I don't think the way we play now is a sustainable path to long term success.

How's it acting superior? I gave my opinion and was told to 'fuck off'. Yeah we won the game but, jesus, we couldn't string three passes together and everything just seemed to be kicking it forward as quickly as we could. That might win you a match or two but it's not going to bring sustainable success. I think what really got me (and the lads I was watching with) was the contrast with Brighton who were knocking it around confidently, putting together intricate plays and passing movements. It just wasn't good.

Well, neither you or the other guy have actually made any attempt to refute the points I made. Points which have been repeatedly mentioned by other posters in this thread and the match thread, you've just cast shade. Bring a discussion or go home.

He actually looks more refined and purposeful. I reckon there's a player there and I'll hold my hands up and say I was one who didn't think he'd make it.
-
Why? You want some? I don't usually deal with strangers (and you're pretty strange) but I can do you a good potato if you're interested.

The sparkling repartee and stunning wit on full display. Men envy him, women want to be with him, he is KennyUtd.

Fortunately some people can think further than 'Our number bigger, we play good'.
-
We won but we weren't good. The players seem to gave no idea what they're doing and struggle to put three passes together. Everything just seems to be get the ball and try and move it up the pitch as quickly as possible which leads to us repeatedly losing possession. We won, but tbh, we looked shite.
-
Happy with the win but my god, we're a terrible football team. Brighton were pinging it around for fun and we literally only managed about 3 consecutive passes before we lost it again. We've somehow just become a kick and rush team.

Sitting back again.

Osula's looking canny.
-
Some of those he took 4 touches and still didn't have it under control
-
The boss has told him to do something with the £125m worth of strikers he paid for who are sitting on the bench every week
-
Get him sitting in the hole with runners running off him and he'll be an assist machine. Stick him up front by himself isolated with NoBrain and Dr. Cutinside either side of him and no midfielders running beyond him and he'll look shit (as would most strikers tbf, Isak was one of the rare number who could still function in a setup like that).
-
'When Trips or Bruno gets the ball, run as fast as you can that way'. Sorted. Might have to remind him we change ends at half time.
-
Don't talk nonsense. It was two years.
-
Probably a mute point anyway tbf.
-
We need to put an end to this now because it's spreading and horrendous. It's 'change tack', not 'change tact'.
-
Yeah, deffo, coz we're savvy like that and surely wouldn't do anything stupid with a transfer. The other business we did in that window clearly showed a lot of nouse and was in no way an utter shitshow.
-
Or just do it by weight. Everyone is allowed 1500kg of players in their squad.
-
Aye, why would we want to play the ball into feet when we could be lumping it at some oaf's head?
-
One thing he did do when he was up front earlier in the season was keep possession. Balls would get played into him and he'd usually manage to find one of our players with a quick pass or flick.
