  1. Huge game for us. It's looking like we're safe in the league so I would hope we go 100% for the EL now.

When we went down we at least had deadwood to shift that was actually worth something. We covered our losses to a large extent by selling players to the tune of a £24m net profit and still had a decent squad left over. I can only see Mignolet and Sessegnon bringing in any kind of revenue for them if they go down and they'll be left with the same shocking squad of aging has beens and one paced plodders.
  3. He'd do well to fake an X Ray. Who said he'd faked an x-ray?
  4. Not buying this like. He miraculously gets a bad injury just after wanting to leave and go to Argentina. Nice that it was just enough time for MYM to bed in too. I believe he's played his last game for us.

Fancy QPR to turn them over tomorrow. The RTG meltdown if it happens will be epic.
  6. Must you be such pricks?

    Alan Pardew

I would have taken 0-0 before the game. We've given ourselves a really good chance to get through although the away goals thing is a bit of a worry. He set us up not to concede and it worked. I noticed our defence were playing quite compact and giving them absolutely no space in the middle so credit to Pardew for that. He went there with a plan, executed it well and came away with what should be a decent result for us.

What do you mean holidays? They'd wear them for job interviews man.
  9. I am f***ing staggered that this post went unchallenged for so many many. Seriously, so, so, so many many, days. You're slipping people. Don't see much wrong with it tbh. The club is in a much healthier shape financially than it was before MA arrived and he should get the credit for that.

    Sammy Ameobi

I just don't see anything in him at 20 years of age that makes me think he's going to be anything more than an average to lower premiership footballer at best. I'd love him to come good but I can't see anything that makes me think he will.

The c***'s probably having his pic taken at the Ricoh as we speak. Not with their transfer embargo he's not. If it wasn't a joke (which it is). Could he still sign on loan even though he doesn't have a club? On loan from who?

Tempted to say he's found his level. Never been too impressed with him at NUFC.

He'll love stevenage, it'll suit him down to the ground. Total shithole populated by arseholes. My mate got beaten with a belt there for the heinous crime of waiting for a train.

I kind of miss that 'group of lads'. There was a tangible spirit around the club and you got that feeling it wasn't just a job for them. So rare in modern football but be thankful we had it again for a little while.

They're losing millions season on season. No way they'll be self sustainable in 3 years.

Good pro, wish him all the best. Did a good job for us when we needed him.
  18. Won't we have work permit problems trying to sign young Colombian players?

Just seems weirdly excessive tbh. They've got threads with people actually getting banned from games for standing and I haven't heard of that at other clubs.

What's the deal with them and standing at the match? I don't hear much talk about it on here or any other football forums I visit yet it seems a regular point of contention over there. Are their stewards complete bastards or something?
  21. We've won away, we've come from behind to win, only one left now. Think these will be a different proposition from last season. Under Laudrup (and with Michu) they seem to have the cutting edge they were missing under Rodgers so i'm not sure we can go backs to the wall and weather it again. We also look much better going forward now too though so i'll go for a score draw (2-2) or a narrow Swansea win (2-1).

Shola running and baked bean head actually on a football pitch. It's like someone found a picture of a yeti having tea with the tooth fairy.
  23. He got you to give him your money and has just cashed in to the tune of £100m as well as £125m profits this year. That's not savvy business?
