I would have taken 0-0 before the game. We've given ourselves a really good chance to get through although the away goals thing is a bit of a worry. He set us up not to concede and it worked. I noticed our defence were playing quite compact and giving them absolutely no space in the middle so credit to Pardew for that. He went there with a plan, executed it well and came away with what should be a decent result for us.

I kind of miss that 'group of lads'. There was a tangible spirit around the club and you got that feeling it wasn't just a job for them. So rare in modern football but be thankful we had it again for a little while.

We've won away, we've come from behind to win, only one left now. Think these will be a different proposition from last season. Under Laudrup (and with Michu) they seem to have the cutting edge they were missing under Rodgers so i'm not sure we can go backs to the wall and weather it again.
