It really should be simple to see. Is Ba better than Cissé wide? Yes. Is Cissé better than Ba central on his own? Arguable. Some would say yes, some no. From that you can pretty much see which way round they should be playing.

According to whoscored.com, Cissé played the most key passes in our team with 3, Ba made none. Ba was also dispossessed more often and Cissé made more takles. I'd say Cissé played a lot better than Ba tonight, who was very poor imo.
