Dummett was consistently awful at left back. Poor on the ball and really slow to turn. He's a decent enough player at centre back though.

He's played 3 games in the league and he's only 22. He'll take time to adapt. Just like Wijnaldum and Mitrovic probably will.

If we're going to compare him to HBA then it's important to note that Hatem was mostly poor (or at least nowhere near as good) when he played on the left.

Dummet is an awful, awful left back, like. Passable as a centre half. Probably our 3rd best in that position actually. £8m is excessive though .

Can't see why Sissoko can't take Colback's place deeper so De Jong can play.
