Pardew destroyed Rodgers in terms of preparation and tactics at their place. As much as I've enjoyed their football at times this season, there's no way should Rodgers win it. In Spain, most teams try to play like they do, so I don't see why he should win an award purely on the way they've played simply because it's different to what everyone else does in this country.

Can't say I agree. He'd be perfect at the top of the midfield 3 where Cabaye's played recently. Cabaye can still do a good job deeper as long as he's part of a 3 I think. Offers a goal threat from midfield, which is certainly something we lack

Richards has still been the best right back in the league this season though. Likewise, Assou-Ekotto and Bale are far too inconsistent. From the right side, it's much easier to keep the ball in play if you're crossing on your left. Always got the possibility of slicing it and kicking it straight out on your right if you're a bit s*** technically

He's always seemed a very good pro whilst with us, but perhaps we're beginning to see why he had a little bit of a reputation. I'm confident Pards will sort it though; one way or another.
