CM is a priority but I think having a significantly better left back would help us a lot. Imagine having Enrique in his prime instead of what we've got now. It'd make a huge difference.

The main problem for Siem is that Ayoze is amazing. He can't play deeper so there's not really a place for him in the first XI. npwanker

On occasion he looks like he could do with a good kick up the backside. But on performances even before today, Thauvin, Obertan or anyone else don't deserve to be in front of him. He's consistently our biggest attacking threat from midfield in terms of creativity. If anyone in midfield squad was going to get 3 assists today, it would be Sissoko. He got a grand total of 2 assists last season. It's not something he normally contributes.

Tioté played as he always plays. His ineptness was only magnified because we play it on the ground a bit more now.

Krul would've saved their second. Would've got a lot closer to their first too.

When we went 3-1 up we needed the midfield to get a hold of the game and neither he or Tioté got anywhere near doing that. Fucking horrible CM pairing, like.

Defensively he has been all season. I don't think he's been as bad as you're making out. He was poor today but generally he's been not been that bad imo. He's caught up-field a lot and is a bit shit in the air but he's been ok.

Never in doubt, his touch alone is light years ahead of anyone else in our squad. Gini's first touch is amazing.

Really like Rooney but he's been shite for two years now. His touch and everything. That's not form. Personally think he needs to be played as a #9 these days and simply instructed to score goals. He'll still have the intelligent movement to do that.
