  1. Big fella as well, could have slotted in behind Bruno/Joe perfectly for us I think.
  2. I really like this Palhinha.
  3. It's just that Liverpool tend to get away with it, whereas Joe actually gets booked.
  4. The thing I'm gonna hate watching the most about Liverpool this season is the 5 subs i think. They always get away with repetitive fouling and yellow cards. After Fabinho should have had 3 yellows he will just get subbed off for milner.
  5. Happy with top 10-ish and progression in how we play. That being said I fully believe we have the best management team in the league at least outside the top 2. And I think we could sneak into a European competition. Whether its getting 6th (7th doesn't give anything?), or through a cup. That would be my goal this year if I was Howe.
  6. Really enjoying watching this, Jesus looks sharp. Think its got something to do with us not being shite anymore, I used to genereally just hate watching other teams.
  7. Exactly what I think I'd start with, with 5 subs i like Willock coming off the bench for longstaff fairly early. Think Willock is more likely to be more effective with fresh legs with his pace. Also think Schar has to start. Best passer in the team when Shelvey is out and so good at taking us from back to front in one move.
  8. With that many signings they can't be gelled well and have the partnerships we have. Our team has been trained together by Howe for ages. Can't see anything other than a win. Schar is the first name on the team-sheet for me, and since we should be superior against these I'd love us to surprise include Anderson in a fluid 4231 like we looked to be playing a few times in pre-season. Tripps - Schar - Botman - Targett Bruno - Joelinton Miggy - Anderson - Maxi Wilson Pretty much expect Willock or Longy to get the nod ahead of Anderson but I would love it.
  9. Miggy tried to do a Ben Arfa against Bolton goal.
  10. Sound and video! Almiron down!
  11. Fraser/Wood/Murphy is a depressing froint three. If we get a goal it should come from a set-piece or midfield.
  12. lol fixed but no audio, ill take it at this point
  13. Nufctv started for anyone? Trying to figure this out whilst not being in the uk.
  14. Anderson starting at RW against forest for me after a 40 minute scouting mission.
  15. Matt Ritchie at left back is just absolute chaos Good hit Joelinton!
  16. Wood picking up exactly where he left off
  17. Fraser and Wood battling it out for the worst touch in Austria award
  18. Really hope we get a new winger this summer.
  19. I for one think they are doing a quality job, and Ekitike won't be the last player we lose out on. When we are not trying to get freebies like Hendrick and actually going for good, young talented players. We are going to fight it out with champion league teams regularly. We beat Milan for Botman. Some players might prefer going to lower tier clubs who have continental football too. There is nothing wrong with that but I am really happy with how they are ambitiously trying to get the right people in. I'd rather sign nobody than compromise on half-decent upgrades for too much money.
  20. Deadline day will be very interesting I should think. A lot of teams hopefully might give up on getting the Newcastle tax.
  21. That picture is my favourite thing that has happened for some time.
  22. Took me an absolute age to figure out what was in this picture
  23. Getting Eriksen in and flirting with Paqueta to be his successor when he has less time left on his contract and is more affordable would be ideal, spend fees on other positions this season.
  24. Really enjoyed it when Ayew scored the 2nd goal and it looked like it would be Everton going down, but at least they have some fight and seemed to care a bit about staying up. Happy to send Burnley down today. The one gameplan is fouling or diving and kicking it up to Ashley Barnes who is such a wanker. We were pretty bad, and its clear that we need better quality in the frontline around Wilson, we should have had at least 2 more goals on the counter and it should have been over at 60 minutes. However missing Joelinton for a scrap like this was a bit of a blow, our tiny wingers just got bullied and we had a ref who basically ignored the rules all game. That foul when their centreback jumped into wood and bounced back was hilarious. Special mention to the referee though. He didnt have any major situations to screw up, but a prime example of a ref letting a violent team just do what they want for 90 minutes. Happens so often and there will be no consequenses for it, and it will happen many times next season. Really, really good season and I can't wait for the next one!
