Christ's Chin has won

Just listened to all of the podcast, really good listen, he comes across as an extremely authentic and humble human being. Very lucky to have him
-
Nathan Jones strong fav for the Southampton job
-
Mental how good we are already to be honest
-
Aye, feel like we have been relatively shite compared to recent games and have made some pretty basic errors at times but winning 3-0, happy days
-
3-1 win, tight early on but we wear them down with our intensity and our fret
-
Let's completely overhaul the fundamental rules of the game to make VAR work, mental decision
-
Wasn't Ronnie Whelan first catholic to play for Liverpool some years after Shankly left? Similar politics in both clubs history, he should be lauded by all the sectarian nonces really
-
Was hoping we could sell him for at least 250 million, bit disappointed now
-
Usually try to look for the positives in these situations but that was turboshite

Not felt this sickened by a football match in a long time. Life goes on..
-
This is 100% it and it's only getting worse, starting to feel a bit like the "English Super League" this season
-
Not sure what could or could not have been done to convince him to stay or get a better price off manure but it is a total shitter of a deal for us on face of it, only scenario where the buy clause gets triggered is if he is playing well for them and the 5m is looking like a bargain.

Kinda mental that Chris Wood scored as many as he did for Burnley really

Feels like the longer the gaps between signings the higher the inflated expectations are getting. No point rushing things and paying over the odds now with several weeks left, total confidence that we'll get more players in and we'll finish in a respectable position in the league next season - after the last decade and a half I am entirely content with that situation to be honest.
-
Gordon is decent, 35 mill seems about right and would rather we got him than DCL if we have to give Everton money. I think he's an awful little shit but that opinion will likely change if he's wearing a Newcastle shirt.
-
Alex Murphy's last match for Galway United next week and a replacement left back been signed today. As per my previous post, still lots of areas he needs to improve on and hard to gauge his current level but fairly certain there's the makings of a very good player there, be very interested to see how he develops with a more professional setup.

Just glad that my compulsion to check this thread on an hourly basis will soon be over

Shame that Simon Church has retired anyway..
-
Didnt think that GK was a priority as Dubs is more than capable albeit injury prone but I think he will do very well here, comes out surprisingly well on a lot of statistics
-
Yes to McNeil as a backup with potential to really improve as a player. Pope similar level to Dubs and prefer to have someone clearly better if we must get a new keeper. Fuck knows with Cornet, has ability but very inconsistent. As others have said none of them are significant improvements and squad doesn't need that much padding out.

Craig Fagan, broke his leg too
